Children- Harper (his sister but adopted as his own)
Background- Val didn't have an easy childhood, his mom was constantly high off drugs it never really felt as if she was really there, his father was an alcoholic, he abused Val for years until one day he went to far and nearly killed him. He was sentenced to prison and Val was put into foster care though even there he was passed around, he never found a forever home, Val never really got to learn what love is, to love or to be loved, well until finally the day came where Val aged out. As scary as it was he finally had a taste of freedom! Well until the news had pasted, his biological mother had passed away to a drug overdose, behind her passing she left Harper, Val's 18 month old sister, he was the only blood relative left, he couldn't let her go into the system. Though Val knew nothing about babies he took her in as her own, one look and he knew what love really was, he just hopes he is enough for her.
