Laenara sat next to aemond while getting stitches on the side of her head. The girl's throat tightened as she looked at Aemonds face, more specifically the spot where his eye was supposed to be.

"Aemond You're hurt. You're-" Sobs came out of her mouth, ignoring everyone else, even Daemon and Rhaenyra walking in together.

"Don't cry, Nara." He, the boy who was injured and whose eye had been lost at the hands of her brothers had comforted her making her cry even harder.

"What is the meaning of this?" Corlys snapped walking to his grandkids. "Baela, Rhaena, Laenara, What happened!" Rhaenys asked worriedly as Baela and Rhaena rushed over to their grandmother.

"Jace, Luke," Rhaenyra called out before rushing over to her sons. "Show me, show me," Rhaenyra said as she kneeled in front of Luke. "Who did this?"

"They attacked me " Aemond shouted as he looked at Rhaenyra who looked at her daughter waiting for her to tell the truth but she didn't say anything.

"He attacked Baela."

"He broke Luke's nose."

"You broke Laenara's nose!"

"He stole my mothers' dragon!"

"You can't steal a dragon!"

The children then began yelling at each other. "Enough!" Viserys demanded but that didn't stop them. "Enough!"

"It was my son who was maimed, it is he who should tell the tale!" Alicent yelled as she watched Aemond grab Laenara's hand in pain. Alicent watched him move in pain.

"He called us-."

"Silence!" Viserys yelled. Rhaenyra stood up and hugged Jace after he whispered something to her.

"Aemond I will have the truth of what happened now!" Viserys demanded as he limped over to Aemond, who gripped Laenara's hand tighter and pulled her closer to him.

"Grandsire his ey-" Laenara voiced but was cut off.

"What else is there to hear?" Alicent shouted as she walked away from her children. "Aemond has been maimed, her son is responsible."

"It was a regrettable accident!" Rhaenyra said, defending her boys.

"An accident? Prince Lucerys brought a blade to the ambush, he meant to kill my son he even hurt his sister!" Alicent scoffed. "It was my sons, who were attacked " Rhaenyra shouted as she gently moved her sons behind her.

"And forced to defend themselves vile insults were levied against them."

"What insults?" Viserys asked as he looked away from Aemond. "The legitimacy of my son's birth was loudly put into question," Rhaenyra replied. "He called us bastards," Jaecerys spoke up.

"My sons are in line to inherit the iron throne, your grace," Rhaenyra said as she looked at her father. "This is the highest of treasons. Prince Aemond must be sharply questioned, so we might learn where he heard such slanders." Rhaenyra spat as if it wasn't true,

"Mother please!" Laenara shouted, making Rhaenyra look at her. "Aemond's eye is gone lost forever over an insult, and you wish him to be sharply questioned!" The 9-year-old Velaryon girl shouted, her voice breaking as she spoke, tears coming down her face.

Everyone in the room curved to look at the oldest Velaryon girl. She was calm and always kept a book in her hand. She was either with Helaena, Aemond, or Luke.

They could see the blood dripping from her nose, the big cut on the side of her head, and one on her arm.

"Over an insult? My son has lost an eye and Laenara almost lost one as well." The queen snapped her voice cracking as she gestured toward her maimed son. Rhaenyra remained silent. "You tell me, boy, where did you hear this lie?" Viserys asked as he leaned down towards Aemond.
