Connor Grey He was, well, different from all others. He was handsome, not perhaps in the conventional sense, but he had that appearance which could make him stand out in the crowd. He was fair, almost pale white. His unfathomable, golden brown eyes contrasted exceptionally with his light toned face. His eyes were as deep and expressive, where you could get lost if you stared long enough. His face had that faraway look in it, which cannot be described in words. His smile, which reached up to his eyes and wrinkled them, flaunted his modesty and humility. Often, you could see a hint of pain in his sparkling eyes, which would disappear as suddenly as it emerged. He sometimes spoke too fast, which perhaps revealed how much agony he concealed within himself. Above all was his frame and his stature. He was not extremely muscular, with 8 pack abs or 16 cm biceps. However, he could stand out in a crowd, which was mostly due to his way of carrying himself. Perhaps he was not the kind who had girls swooning over him. But he was simple and innocent. He was perhaps, just one in a million, who was "nothing special, but all the same unique

It was a moonlit night, and Connor Grey, an adventurous teenager, decided to go for a run in the woods near his house. The cool breeze brushed against his face as he made his way through the familiar trails. The sound of his sneakers hitting the ground echoed through the quiet forest.

As Connor pushed himself, trying to beat his personal best time, he suddenly heard a faint, high-pitched scream. His heart skipped a beat, and he came to an abrupt halt. The scream sounded like it came from a little girl, and it sent shivers down his spine.

Without a second thought, Connor followed the direction of the scream. He sprinted through the trees, his adrenaline pumping. The moonlight guided his way as he navigated the winding paths. Every step brought him closer to the source of the cry.

As he reached a clearing, his breath caught in his throat. There, he found a little girl, her body covered in blood. His heart raced, and a wave of fear washed over him. He quickly knelt down beside her, trying to assess the situation.

"Hey, are you okay?" Connor asked, his voice filled with concern.

The girl looked up at him, her eyes wide with terror. "I... I don't know what happened. I was playing with my friends, and then everything went dark. I woke up like this."

Connor's mind raced as he tried to figure out what could have caused the girl's injuries. He knew he had to act quickly. With trembling hands, he pulled out his phone and dialed for help. As he waited for the ambulance to arrive, he did his best to comfort the girl, assuring her that everything would be alright.

As Connor stayed by the girl's side, providing comfort and support, a sudden rustling in the underbrush caught his attention. He turned his head, his senses on high alert. Out of the darkness emerged a massive and mysterious creature, its presence looming over them.

Connor's heart raced as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. The creature stood tall, with glowing red eyes and sharp, jagged teeth. Its body was covered in dark, matted fur, and its claws were as long as daggers. Fear gripped Connor, but he knew he had to protect the girl at all costs.

Summoning every ounce of courage, Connor stepped forward, positioning himself between the creature and the girl. "Stay back!" he shouted, his voice filled with determination.

The creature let out a bone-chilling growl, its breath hot and putrid. It lunged towards Connor, its claws slashing through the air. In a split second, Connor dodged the attack, narrowly avoiding the creature's deadly grasp.

Thinking quickly, Connor searched his surroundings for anything that could help him defend himself. His eyes landed on a fallen branch nearby. He grabbed it, wielding it like a makeshift weapon.
