The memories are here
Dancing upon the pictures on the wall
Constant smiles
Love so fresh
Pain so new
Walking down the hall
Trying not to fall
Listen
The trees sway in the wind
A distant melody you cannot find
The birds chirp, sounding so kind
The leaves are budding
Water sounds so stunning
Now I here your laughter
Now I hear your sarcasm
Now I hear the silence of it all
Feel
The pain comes rushing back
Footprints had been left in the sand
But now there's more
Now the writing's on the wall
Our secrets coded with deep curves
Your fingers in mine
But not really there
Am I dreaming?
Is this a nightmare?
I keep on hoping
That maybe it could get better
And it will
But nobody seems to care
There's nobody to truly talk to
Nobody who listens
She says she doesn't care.
He never talks to me
And I'm not allowed to talk to you.
Truly.
Not allowed to ask how you are.
Not allowed to share my day.
So I send you songs.
Hoping to make you smile.
Cause its been a while.
Not everything is gonna go my way...
And that's okay.
Because I love you till infinity.
Love is timeless.
Love is here.
I know you care.
Sometimes ...
its like you're the only one who does.
Infinity is hope
Infinity is chaos
If this doesn't makes sense
That's okay
Life doesn't make sense
So neither should this poem
and it really helps me cope.
So.
Infinity forever.
Love forever.
Love is an action, not a feeling.
Love makes my mind go reeling.
Because I just don't know
How to feel
How to think
What to say
What to do.
Its lonely sometimes.
Being an introvert.
Being a hopeless romantic.
But sometimes holding onto an infinity of hope...
Really helps.
Everything will be okay.
I know it will.
I just have to stay determined.
