Hate Or Love?

Love,

It is to cherish, to touch and to hold,

But you were far too bold,

Your hands and skin feels nice,

Like ice piercing the soft flesh of my skin,

I know we are kin,

But is it so bad to sin?

Tell me love,

What is love truly?

Why is it so unruly at moments of joy?

Why do we love when we only are harmed in the end?

Why tend to wounds that will never heal?

That will never be sealed?

You don't answer,

Not like you can.

Will I ever get a response?

Or will it be just nonsense in the end?

you always try to amend,

You say love is pure, untainted and wise,

But I say otherwise,

Like a contract,

But with your heart,

Be ready for it to be teared apart,

For love is unpredictable,

Unstable,

It can take turns that will leave you in a urn,

So don't be foolish,

Dont try to mend what's already broken,

It will Only harm and scar your flesh,

Burn you like a witch on a stake,

So why even approach and take?

Everything you held dear,

Will only be lost to fear.

That isn't love,

That is hate,

Meant to make us lose faith,

So cherish your love,

Don't Haste,

For wounds and blood leaves a bitter taste.
