defeated by mom I'm being forced to be here in this childish amusement park which is such a bummer. It does seem a bit silly for a 28-year-old billionaire to be riding rides here, isn't it?
growling in frustration i paced from here to there not knowing what to do. My anger and frustration keep getting the best of me and I couldn't really help it.
controlling my anger has been one of the most difficult and annoying task of mine, since past two years. But anyways, unless and until I'm alone, I'm calm and resilient. Another company probably ruins my mood.
my phone buzzed and I already knew who it was before even glancing at the caller id.
" jee ammi" i grumbled.
" don't tell me you still haven't gone to the amusement park yet, it's the last time I'm warning you rayyan, listen to me obediently and enjoy the rides." My mother warned me with a slight hint of mischievous and excitement.
" ammi you've been forcing me to go here and there a lot these days, I swear I'm okay so please stop with these." I grunted and complained while huffing.
ignoring my nagging my mom declared. " also don't forget to send me that picture of the amusement park you're in or else—".
" okay okay " I breathed out.
Closing my eyes shut, I ended the call. An everyday burning sensation erupted in my lungs, not to forget that I'm accustomed to the pain that my chest feels.
rushing hurriedly towards one of the stalls I grabbed a drink for myself and chugged on it calming down the scorching pain.
I glide my hand on my face due to intense aggravation that I'm feeling right now. A dinner night was fine, but a day out at the amusement park is incredibly annoying to me.
before I could proceed to do literally anything, my mom's message popped up.
MOM : don't forget that I'm still waiting for you to send me the picture of the amusement park.
Taking a deep breath, I walked to find the perfect spot to quickly snap a picture and send it to my mom. I opened my camera and aimed it towards the area with lots of food trucks and small toy shops.
I zoomed my camera for a better view and a clearer photo. My eyes widened in shock, and my hands froze in their camera-holding position when I saw a pair of mesmerizing green orbs stared directly at the camera.
They scrutinized for a moment, contemplating what was happening. Then, in an instant, their eyes widened in terror, mirroring my own. They looked utterly terrified and taken aback.
