Open eighteen months after zod's attack on earth we see Lois and a photographer are in nairomi Africa as Lois is to interview a general dictator amajagh as his men bring Lois to him forcefully
Lois: are you a terrorist general
General amajagh: they did not tell me the interview was with a lady
Lois: I'm not a lady I'm a journalist
General amajagh: what I am is a man with nothing except a love of my people
Lois: who's paying for these security contracts general
General amajagh: who pays for the drones that pass over our heads at night
(As the photographer starts taking pictures the head guard takes the camera and breaks it apart seeing a tracker inside )
Head of the guards: CIA
Guard#1: they're tracking us
(As general amajagh men brings the photographer to amajagh as he brings out a gun pointing at him )
Lois: no!
(As guards hold Lois back)
Photographer: (native language) not her! We just used her credentials as cover she doesn't know anything
(In English looking at Lois) it's okay

(As amajagh shoots the photographer in the head killing him )
Cut to amajagh in a hut with Lois
Lois: I I don't know
General amajagh: ignorance is not the same as innocence miss lane
(As the head of the guards shoots amajagh's guards killing them and leaves as amajagh grabs Lois and pointing to her head as Clark and Kara fly into the hut wearing their suits)
General amajagh: take one step either of you you'll both see the inside of her head
(As Clark flew towards amajagh throwing him through the wall )
Cut to Lois at her and Clark's appointment in metropolis as Lois is taking a bath as Clark walks in with flowers and groceries
Clark: hey
Lois: hey where's Kara
Clark: she said she needed to talk to a friend anyway I was gonna cook
Surprise you
Lois: they held hearings about what happened they're saying that
Clark: I don't care I don't care what they're saying the woman I love could have been blown up or shot
Think of what could have happened
Lois: well think about what did happen
Clark: we didn't kill those men if that's what they think if that's what you're saying
Lois: no I'm saying I want to understand what happened I'm saying thank you for saving my life
