Three days had passed since Rohan's confession, yet Naina still found herself unable to give him a proper response. She was dealing with a tangled knot of emotions which she couldn't seem to figure out. Instead, she buried herself in distractions, immersing herself in the usual routines of school and studies, hoping to escape the chaos within.

As she walked through the corridors of her school, Naina focused on the chatter of her friends, the laughter that echoed through the halls, anything to drown out the nagging voice of insecurity in her mind. She buried herself in the preparation for the upcoming math test, poring over equations and formulas with a determination bordering on obsession.

But try as she might, Naina couldn't shake the feeling of Rohan's eyes on her, his presence was a constant reminder of the confession that lingered between them like an unspoken promise. She caught glimpses of him in the hallway, his gaze searching for hers, but she tried to look away, unable to meet his gaze.

Naina busied herself with her textbooks, her gaze fixed firmly on the pages before her. She felt Rohan's eyes on her, silently pleading for answers, but she pretended not to notice, burying herself deeper in the facade of detachment she had constructed around herself.

The tension between them crackled like electricity, a noticable force that hung in the air between them, begging to be acknowledged. But Naina pushed it aside, hiding herself in her studies and her friendships, anything to avoid the uncomfortable conversation with Rohan.

As the final bell rang, nodding the end of the school day, Naina breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for the temporary reprieve. But her relief was short-lived.

As she made her way to the tuition center, she noticed Rohan approaching her with a mix of anxiety and determination. His steps quickened as he closed the distance between them, his face etched with anticipation.

"Naina, we need to talk," he said urgently, his words hanging in the air between them.

Naina felt her heart skip a beat as she turned to face him, her own nerves tingling with apprehension. She knew that this conversation was inevitable, that she couldn't keep avoiding the elephant in the room any longer.

Rohan's eyes searched hers, pleading for answers, but Naina found herself at a loss for words, her mind racing with conflicting emotions. She tried to steady her voice, to find the courage to face the truth that lay within her heart.

But before she could gather her thoughts, Rohan spoke again, his words tumbling out in a rush of emotion. "Naina, I... I need to know. Do you feel the same way? Can we... can we be more than just friends?"

And then, in a moment of clarity, Naina's resolve hardened, her heart speaking louder than her fears. She looked into Rohan's eyes, her own filled with a vulnerability she couldn't hide any longer.

"Yes," she said softly, her voice steady despite the butterflies in her stomach. "Yes, Rohan. I feel the same way. I want to give this a chance."

A wave of relief washed over Rohan's face, his features breaking into a radiant smile that melted Naina's heart. He reached out to take her hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through her veins.

"Thank you," he said earnestly, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you for giving me a chance, Naina.

"I promise, I won't let you down."
"I've been waiting for you to say that", his voice filled with emotion. "I couldn't stop thinking about you, Naina. I've never felt this way about anyone before."

Naina felt a surge of warmth fill her chest as she thanked him for his patience and understanding. In that moment, she knew that she had made the right decision, that she was ready to take a leap of faith into the unknown.

As they stood there lost in the moment together, Rohan's eyes sparkled with excitement as he pulled her towards a nearby shop, his hand tight in hers as they walked. He emerged a moment later, holding out a chocolate bar with a shy smile.

"I bought this for you," he said, his cheeks turning pink. "I thought it might sweeten the moment."

Naina felt her heart swell with affection as she accepted the chocolate bar, embracing the bond that was forming between them. She took a bite, savoring the sweetness on her tongue as she looked up at Rohan, her eyes shining with happiness.

"Thank you," she said softly, her voice filled with gratitude. "For everything."

She glanced at him, a knowing smile playing at the corners of her lips. She could sense the whirlwind of emotions churning within Rohan, mirroring her own unstable feelings. With a gentle squeeze of his hand, she encouraged him to speak his mind.

"I've been wanting to ask you," Rohan continued, his words tumbling out in a rush. "What made you take so long to respond? I was worried you didn't feel the same way."

Naina's heart softened at Rohan's vulnerability, realizing the depth of his feelings for her. She took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding, wanting to reassure him without dismissing the complexity of her own emotions.

"It's not that I didn't feel the same way, Rohan," Naina replied softly, her gaze meeting his with sincerity. "It's just that... I needed time to sort through my thoughts and feelings. I wanted to be sure before I gave you an answer."

Rohan nodded, his expression filled with understanding. "I understand, Naina. I just couldn't bear the uncertainty."

Their conversation was interrupted as they reached the tuition center, the familiar sight of their classroom inviting them inside. With a glance and a silent understanding, they entered the room together and sat side by side.

Throughout the class, Naina and Rohan stole glances at each other, their eyes sparkling with unspoken promises and dreams. They exchanged subtle smiles and whispered words, their connection growing stronger with each passing moment.

And as the final bell rang, denoting the end of the tuition session, Naina and Rohan lingered behind, reluctant to part ways. With a tender embrace and a promise to meet again soon, they said their farewells, their hearts filled with the excitement of a new beginning.

As Naina walked home, the setting sun casting a warm glow over the streets of her town, she couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. She had finally found the courage to follow her heart, to embrace the love that had been waiting for her all along.

And as she entered her home, greeted by the comforting embrace of her family, Naina knew that she was ready to embark on this new chapter of her life, with Rohan by her side. For in his embrace, she had found the kind of love she had always yearned for - imperfect, messy, and utterly beautiful.
