The room was illuminated in a light that originated from an unknown source, water dripped from the broken skylight and fell onto my body, and the smell of blood was everywhere.
My mouth was full of dried blood, and my whole body ached with pain.
What... I'm... not dead? I looked up, and saw two bloody horns, impaled through my flank. The realization struck me like lightning, I was indeed alive.
There was silence in the room, I smelled blood, only blood, and the destruction that I left behind was still visible.
I was alone.
Reality is something I have always hated, something I despised, something I wished I could change, but I couldn't.
I tried to lift my head, but the pain was too much, my head just dangled there, unable to be moved.
Pain was a powerful part of reality, it engulfs it's victims and shows no mercy. And when you try to escape it, it becomes more powerful, and never releases it's grasp. I was one of pain's many victims, and have been since the day I opened my eyes. I tried to move my tail, pain attacked. I tried to move my arms, pain attacked.
I was hopeless, I was engineered to be a relentless, strong, deadly creature yet pain was too much for me.
Death gave me a second chance but death is what I wanted most. I wanted the pain to end. I wanted my pointless, painful life to end.
I let out a whimper, and felt a cold tear form in my eye, and slide down my face and onto the blood covered ground below me.
I looked up into the cloudless bright blue sky.
"What d-did I do wrong?"
Pain ran to my head and mouth, making me let out a soft whimper. I didn't deserve this. All I wanted was revenge yet I'm the one that gets punished for it. The humans are the ones who tortured me and experimented on me. And they got no form of punishment, yet when I try to get the revenge I've been wanting, I get a punishment I don't deserve.
This was life... my life, pain is the only word to describe it.
I slowly closed my eyes, hoping that death takes me, and ends the suffering I'm having to endure. As my eye lids closed, I heard a voice.
Wake up!
I opened my eyes, and looked around, trying to locate where the voice originated from. I saw nothing. "H-hello?" I coughed out blood, and the pain returned to my head and mouth. It was too much, and before i knew it, I started to cry.
At first it was soft whimpering and then it escalated to tears and crying, that just caused more pain to flood to my head. More. Ruthless. Pain. And that just caused me to cry louder, all the way until the point of sobbing.
I tried to stop myself, I tried to make the pain stop, but I couldn't bring myself to, I just couldn't. I just continued to cry tears, tears of pain... and sadness.

I don't know how long I cried, mostly because I didn't keep track, the sky was already dimming by the time I managed to stop crying.
And by then, my face was covered in my own blood, blood that flew out of my mouth as I cried, the smell of blood still burnt my nostrils.
It was getting dark, the pain in my body had died down, but not by much, and I was still in the same position I was in when I woke up.
