It was a Friday afternoon, my parents called the office to let them know I was going home early that day. It didn't shock me one bit, I knew I was going home early that day. I said bye to my friends before hand. Why? Because I was moving to California that day. My parents had me come early today because of traffic to the airport. I was going on a flight with my mom and then my dad would sell off his car at the car dealership that's right down the road of the airport, and catch the next plane to California to meet me and my mom. I had nearly forgotten I was packing my bags to leave this place behind. Hi, my name is Mary Jane Smith... just call me Mary. I have orange puffy hair and green eyes. My friends had said they'd be-friended me because they felt bad for me, which I respect, seeing that I was bullied for having differnt hair. They would also compliment me, like my eyes. My friend, Melissa, said my eyes looked of shiny emeralds. I returned the compliment by saying her eyes looked like a shining diamond turquoise and a melty chocolate brown. For context, she had heterochromia, which means one of your eyes is one color- case in point, blue - and the other eye another color- which was brown - Melissa instantly fell on the floor saying I was such a sweetheart and she then proceeded to compliment me in 100px speed. I think she had a crush on me. I then snapped into reality, realizing that, I left my friends behind already, I was leaving everything behind, because of my dads stupid job. I was glum packing up my stuff. I had packed my phone, a photo of me and my friends together, some clothes I liked to wear, my water bottle, snacks, my personal notebook- aka, my diary- and my 1 year old cats, Julia and Yvette. Julia had a black, white, and orange coating, like of a calico cat, whilst Yvette has a brown and white fur coating, like of a Siamese cat. Those two were put into one pet carrier. My phone, bottle of water, and snacks were put in my backpack. Everything else was in my suitcase."MARY! GET DOWNSTAIRS NOW! We have to talk." My mom hollered. She sounded serious, so I quickly got my bags and cats, and ran downstairs to see my mom and dad standing infront of the couch.

"Mom, dad, what's up? Are we leaving now?" I stood, confused,"set your bags down, kid. And sit down." My dad ordered. So I did as told and sat down."Darling," my mom started."All the flights for the next few to California have been..." My mom wandered off, she obviously didn't want to say it. She signaled my dad to say it, and he said it, loud and clear."They've all been cancelled. All flights to California for the next few weeks have been cancelled due to nobody flying there." I was shocked out of my mind,"what now? How are we getting to California without an airplane to fly us there?" I then stated."Well Mary, We'll have to drive to California ourselfs." Still very shocked because, how can we drive from Toronto, Canada, to California, USA? It felt impossible. But as my friend Amelia always told me, nothing is impossible, anything is possible. It was insperational, but at the same time, it wasn't. I believed it was possible and I proceeded to follow my parents to the car. I got the back seat, and I also was by a window seat. I was sitting behind the passengers seat, which was where my mom was sitting. We went to the gas station for car gas and more snacks, just in case. It was 2:30 in the afternoon so I decided to text my friends in our friend group. So, here is how it went...     (  https://youtu.be/R5Axsa-aFWA?feature=shared   )

10 Mintues Later...

Well, this couldn't get any worse. Having to drive from one state to another, almost running out of gas, okay, we're near the exit of a gas station, almost in the clear. What can go wrong. EVERYTHING CAN GO WRONG! Wait. NOOOOOOOO! It started raining hard, the rain is getting harder. If we get back on the free way, we're doomed. Doomed for eternity. This is getting bad, why do I think it's possible when it's not. Great. I'm overthinking again. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Just took a VERY VERY sharp turn. Oh look, we're here. Cool. I was mind talking again, but, very excessively, it's called overthinking. I was overthinking on the free way, great. We got to the gas station eventually, we got some more gas for the car, and I got some more water to fill my water bottle from time to time. It was 3:09, almost 3:10 pm... WAIT! It's 3:10 pm. I wanted to take a little nap, and so I did...
