I was in my taxi, i was prepared to see my mum and dad but not at the same time, my sister Layla texted me saying they're always shouting and arguing. I get to their house and knock, I waited 5 minutes for Layla to opened the door, I zoom in for a hug and she hugs me back tightly, until my dad pushed her away and shouts at me.
" WHERE HAVE U BEEN?!" my dad angrily shouts
" i visited the triplets, i wanted to start a new life in Boston" i quietly said while trying to spit words out my mouth
" WE HAVENT SEEN YOU SINCE LAST YEARS XMAS! ITS THANKSGIVING TOMORROW!!" he says
"ano and i'm sorry, be grateful i actually came back to see you" i added
" whatever" my dad says with a stutter in his voice
I enter the house and i can just remember all the memories in the house, i look at my mum and she notices me and her face lits up, she screamed in happiness and it made me want to rip me ears out
" OMG ALEXIS I MISSED U, WHERE HAVE U BEEN?!" my mum yelled
" i visited the triplets, I wanted to start a new life in Boston and have a career" i say
" you have been gone for ages, i'm so glad ur back"my mum says
" not for long, i'm only staying for thanksgiving" i add
" as long as ur here i don't mind how long " my mum says with the biggest smile in her face
