Isang linggo na ang nakakalipas simula ng dumating ako dito. The palace looks more livelier now that it's surrounded with dandelions.

During my stay here, I was able to visit the city below the mountain and realized that the people there were the same as ours.

They are kind, hospitable and entertaining. Their powers are also unique and powerful.

And speaking of which, I've never seen gideon use his power so I'm not aware what's his magic is.

"Kei, who's the visitor gideon is talking to?"- saad ko habang nilalagyan ng bulaklak ang mga flower vase.

"It was the priest of the palace, my lady. Lahat ng kinakasal ay siya ang nagseseremonya. They should be talking about your wedding by now."- sagot niya habang nagpapalit ng mga kurtina sa bintana.

Di ko napigilang mamula sa narinig. Thinking about the wedding that is happening 1 week from now, it makes my stomach churn from excitement and anxiety.

It just happened so quickly that I felt like I am dreaming. Who would have thought that I would marry someone like him? A powerful king who is loved by his people. A man who has everything will be married to someone like me who is just.....ordinary.

I mean, why did he accept my father's offer in the first place? What would happen if my sister actually agreed?

I thought I should ask him those questions but fear crept into my heart thinking his answers would disappoint me.

"My lady, you should clean up and rest. You've already placed all the flowers in the their vases."- puna ni kei ng mapansing tapos na ang ginagawa ko.

"Oh, you're right. Then, I shall leave you here."- paalam ko at nagtungo na saking kwarto sa ikalawang palapag.

Pero bago pa man din ako makapasok ay nadaanan ko ang opisina ni gideon kung saan may double door ito.

I pause for a moment when I heard voices.

"My king, the inevitable is happening! If this continues, the situation will only worsened. Think about your well being!"- pakinig kong wika ng bagong boses.

Is he talking to the priest?

"My well being is none of your concern. As long as I'm here, nothing will happen."- pinal at may awtoridad na mungkahi ni gideon.

"My lord, if you should have listened to my warnings, there will be no—"

"I'm your king and I decide what's best for me! Do you understand priest mahzun?"- intimidation and threat lingered on gideon's voice as he said those words.

Hindi ko napigilang mapaigtad sa gulat dahil ngayon ko lang siya narinig sumigaw. His voice was so cold and menacing that it left me frozen on my spot.

Is there something going on? I thought they were talking about the wedding?

More importantly, why were they talking about gideon's well being? Does he have illness or something?

I was pulled out from my deep thoughts when one of gideon's people showed up. He's panting as if he run here nonstop. Nagulat din ako ng may mapansin akong bahid ng dugo ang kaniyang damit.
