Poem - The Sea Resort Pier Out Into The Ocean.
On a pier where seagulls soar,
Where waves crash upon the shore,
Amidst the seaside's lively hum,
A haven where memories come.

Herring gulls and pigeons flock,
In search of treats along the dock,
Ice cream, pies, and sandwiches sweet,
Their scavenger dance, a joyous feat.

Arcades echo with beeps and tunes,
Video machines under afternoon moons,
Children's laughter fills the air,
As they chase prizes without a care.

Shell and crystal stores gleam bright,
Customers entranced by the sight,
Trinkets and treasures, stories untold,
In every gem, a tale to behold.

At the pier's end, pubs and cafes thrive,
Serving to tourists who arrive,
With steaming mugs and hearty fare,
Welcoming all with seaside flair.

Big wheels turn against the sky,
Funfair rides lift spirits high,
For young and old, a thrill to find,
In every twist, a moment defined.

And out to the horizon, vast and grand,
The sea stretches, a timeless expanse,
On sunny, windy, cold days like today,
The pier stands strong, a beacon, they say.

So let's stroll along this pier's embrace,
In the sunshine and the wind's embrace,
Where memories dance and dreams take flight,
In this seaside resort's enchanting light.
The sea and ocean pier.
