Y/N POV

When I woke up this morning I went to make sure everyone was ok, that's when I found mom. 

I knew it wasn't the masked people, because mom offered to help me after they left, so I had no idea who did this to her. I also noticed that Klaus was missing, and no one knows where he went, everything thinks he went to go get drugs, which is probably true. 

When I went to go find five I saw him seating in the van and then suddenly disappeared. I saw a blue flash across the street. 

I made my way to the car when I noticed it was Lance, the doctor, in the drivers seat and five in the passenger, I also noticed a dog in the back. 

I opened the door to sit with the dog while the two talked 

"eight? what are you doing here, i'm in the middle of something." five said turning to me while the man had wide eyes. five then focused on the bruises on my face giving me look that tells me we will talk about it later

"well, I was hoping to stop you from killing him, but I may be too late." I said with a smile while the mans eyes went even wider. 

"im just kidding lance, I won't let him do anything... maybe." 

"one chance, that's all you got." five said continuing their conversation "one chance to tell me exactly what's going on in that lab." 

"I..I manufacture prosthetic devices for fake patients... I bill the insurance companies and then sell them for cash." 

As we was explaining I started thinking, why would someone want to buy a fake eyeball so badly when they didn't need it?

"including eyeballs?" I asked 

"yeah, they're my biggest seller... I mean they sell, like-like hotcakes... ive got a list, a waiting list, probably buyers." he explained 

"so the serial number we told you..." five said waiting for him to answer 

"could've already been bought... yes off.. off the books." 

"bad move doctor man." I said petting the dog sitting next to me 

"I needed that list lance." five said frustrated per usual "names and numbers, and I need it now!" five yelled slightly causing the dog to jump. 

"I don't have it, I mean, not on me. the only copy in my safe at the lab." 

"well then I guess were going to the lab mr lance." I said with a tight lipped smile 

"guess were going on a filed trip." five said looking back at me still examining my bruises 

'im fine' I whispered to him but he shook his head, he cannot find out about the cut on my back, speaking of which I probably need to rebandage that. 

TIME SKIP

as the three of us were walking down the sidewalk I noticed the scent of smoke 

"five, do you smell that?" I asked stopping in my tracks 

"no...no no no." five mumbled starting to run

"five!" I said leaving lance and chasing after him 

when I caught up to him I noticed the lap was on fire and about to explode. 

I ran next to five and tried to absorb as much energy as I could at the moment and put a shield around us, the force still knocked us down but we weren't burned. 

"shit." five said grabbing my hand and helping me up. I winced when he put his arm around my back to steady me but accidentally hitting my cut. he gave me a weird look but hen shrugged it off.
