Sitting and smoking with my homegirl Tanya on the porch, all of a sudden i come up with the perfect song idea i run into my house and grab my notebook
Tanya:where u going
putting her arms up in confusion
A minute later i come back out with my notebook
and began writing and mumbling to myself as i finish the rest of this song in my notebook, i hand the notebook off to tanya
She begins to read
Shauna: what you think
tanya:Girl...
Shauna:what... is it bad?
My smile faded
Tanya:girl this shit is tough..
I smiled
She handed back the notebook
Tanya:girl with that talent you really could go places
As she passes me the blunt

I stand up to hug her

My birthday was just around the corner and Tanya had an early birthday present for me, she tells me to get ready i put on a nice outfit, as soon as i get to the handle of the car she hands me a blindfold
Shauna: aw hell nah
Tanya: what, i don't wanna ruin ya surprise
Shauna: girl u tryna kill me cus you can't drive
Tanya: damn u tryna hurt my feelings.. come on put it on

Minutes later
Shauna: my stomach bubbling..
Tanya: why
Shauna: its either yo bad driving or the fact that you tryna surprise me
Tanya: (laughs) girl shut up, ok we're here
She pulls over and lets me out the car
Tanya:you ready
Shauna:yea before i shit myself
Tanya laughs and takes off the blindfold
I opened my eyes to a recording studio
Shauna:why we here
Tanya:why u think we here..i rented you a recording session
Shauna: for real
I ran to hug her
Shauna:Thank you. Wait i dont have my notebook here
Tanya goes to grab something out her car and hands it to me
Shauna: oh so this is where my notebook went.. When did u take it
Tanya:earlier when you weren't looking..now come on
They walk into the recording studio together
She meets the producer and the rest of the crew
Producer B-light: Yo i got the perfect beat for you
Shauna:let me hear it
A minute later
Shauna:that shit is dope
B-light: you ready
shauna:yea
B-light:get in the booth then...
1..2..3.. The beat plays
As soon as shauna began to finish the song off a man walks in
B-light:what the fuck you doing cuz
man:Ayo yall need to get the fuck out
Tanya:hell naw i paid for the session we aint leaving
Man:get the fuck out now
Tanya:mmcht.. We leaving, come on Shauna.. we out
As she walk past the man and giving him the finger
Shauna:here i come
I grabbed my jacket and my notebook and headed out to the club
Tanya: i'm sorry for what happened back there, i didn't know it was going to go down like that
Shauna: its all good,thank you though.. Bartender give me another one
As soon as i got done with the shot a crowd started forming at the front door
