"It is up to me," Montague breathed out. "I must be the one to bring this island to its true potential."

Montague closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before pushing open two huge double doors. A crowd stood in front of Montague, cheering and clapping as he stood at the top of the balcony in front of them.

"Welcome everyone, to the grand opening of Grand Glacier Hotel!" Montague shouted with a big smile.

The crowd's cheers rang through the sky. Montague took a good look at his audience as he clapped his own hands and waved to everyone. They were all the wealthiest elites of the island, the only people who could afford to stay at a place like this. These were the people who were going to fund his plans. Montague was going to make good use of these people.

Two workers opened the doors for the crowd to enter the hotel, of course in a fashionable manner. Montague turned on his heel to enter back into the hotel. He now stood at the top of a staircase looking down on the crowd.

"Thank you, sincerely, to everyone who has joined me for this momentous occasion. To this wonderful day, a toast, to much success and wealth." Montague said with a smirk as he grabbed a champagne glass on a servers tray next to him. There were servers all over in the crowd with champagne glasses so the crowd was no where short of a good drink. He raised the glass to the air and many in the crowd followed suit. He took a sip and set it back on the tray.

"And now, let the festivities begin!" Montague said throwing his arms up.

Fancy music played throughout the huge main lobby as cheerful voices spoke. It had been 6 hours since the doors of Grand Glacier had, for the first time, been opened and it was now getting late into the night. The main lobby was still packed with people talking, laughing, drinking. Montague stood off to the side, surveying the crowd.

"How are the customers?" Montague asked without looking to a man next to him but instead keeping his eyes glued to the crowd.

"Their spirits couldn't be higher." The man replied.

"Perfect." Montague said with a smirk as he gripped his diamond hanging from his necklace.

"They will all be drunk within the hour, if they aren't already, and have to get rooms. Sir, your plan was flawless." The man complimented.

"I know it was, stupid!" Montague's smirk turned to a frown as he glared at the man. He took this as his queue to leave.

"The people seem to be enjoying their drinks." A voice said from beside Montague.

Montague looked over to see a woman with a slick black dress with a slit up the side and gold accents along the bottom climbing halfway up on one side. Her hair was straight and dark and Montague couldn't help but notice her gold nose ring.

"Yes, I didn't get the proper chance to thank you for providing the drinks tonight, Nisha." Montague said with a slight nod and smile.

"Of course, only the best for such a grand occasion." Nisha said emphasizing on the word 'grand' along with a wink and soft smile.

Montague let out a chuckle, "Ah yes, but the night is still young, who knows what is yet to come..." He handed Nisha a card and she took it, examining it before looking back up at him and nodding her head.

"You must be Montague." Another voice said from in front of him.

Montague looked to see a woman wearing a black and red jumpsuit dress combo. She had bright red, short, wavy hair. He couldn't help but be taken aback by her beauty. Her hand was outstretched towards him. He took it in his own hand and shook it.

"Name's Valeria, pleasure to meet you." She said with a smile. Montague noticed Nisha's demeanor change out of the corner of his eye but payed no attention to it.

"The pleasure is all mine." He said as he bowed down and lightly kissed her hand in his own hand. "Ta beauté est inégalée."

"Oh stop flattering me." Valeria said as she waved her hand dismissively.

"You're the one who owns the railways, no?" Montague asked with a raised eyebrow.

"That would be I." She said with a smirk.

Montague handed her a card as well and she glanced at it quickly before stuffing it into a pocket.

"Thanks hun." She said as she flicked her hair back dramatically.

"Now now Monty, you can't hog all the pretty girls to yourself." A gruff voice said.

"Oscar! Good to see you." Montague said unenthusiastically.

The tiger wore a green suite with black accents with his arms crossed and an annoyed expression.

"You know you need me." Oscar growled as he leaned close to Montague before digging a hand into Montague's pocket and pulling out a card and then walking away.

Montague frowned and glanced at Valeria who was holding back a smirk from the embarrassing interaction.

Montague collected himself, smoothing down his coat, "If you would excuse me, but there is an announcement I must make." Montague said as he walked away from the two girls.

Montague made his way through the bustling crowd. People were trying to stop him to talk to him with many people saying congratulations to him and him quickly thanking them. He still needed to keep his appearance up for the people if they thought him rude they would never want to fund him.

Finally, he made it through the crowd to the other side of the lobby where a large object sat covered by a big sheet.

"Everyone, if I could have your attention please!" Montague yelled to get the crowd's attention, but to no avail, everyone continued their conversations.

Montague groaned as he thought of a way to get their attention. He looked down at his shining diamond hanging from his necklace and gripped it, closing his eyes. Suddenly his body shone bright as diamond crawled up his legs and all the way to the top of his head, transforming his very body into diamond. The spectacle caught the attention of the crowd, their heads all turning to look at Montague.

"Finally." He said under his breath. "If I could have your attention everyone!" He shouted, again, making sure he had every single person's full attention. "I present to you..." he said as he gripped the sheet in his hand before pulling it off to reveal the object, "The Society."

What the sheet once hid was a giant statue of an emblem, the very emblem of The Society. Gasps of awe rang out from the crowd before quickly turning into cheers. Montague glanced at Oscar in the crowd who scoffed, making Montagues's blood boil.

"I'm well aware most of you have heard rumors of The Society, a group of elites set to rule the land. Well it's here and happening now! Join The Society and earn power or reject this invitation and be destroyed as we take over the island." Montague explained.

Montague motioned to a pedestal in front of the statue, "Sign the contract, and be among the mighty." People rushed over to begin signing, Montague watching with a smirk. Everything was going to plan. The Society was rising and nobody would be able to stop it.
