He held the baby close to his chest. His other hand intertwined with Annika's. She was watching them with tired eyes but there was a glow of happiness around her.
The baby yawned letting out a soft coo. Shivaay and Annika watched eagerly. Their eyes soak in the appearance of their newly born son. Their eyes memorize every small detail. The baby opened his eyes and blinked.
It was their quiet heaven. Just them.
The same eyes. Annika thought.
Shivaay was staring at them overwhelmed. His finger was clutched into the baby's little fist.
He felt complete.
"Annika" she turned to him.
"Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I never thought I'd feel this way, but it was you. How could I not? You complete me."

I often wonder how good ofparents shivika will be. It's a pity we didn't see it onscreen.
