Prologue

"I think—I think I love him!"

"Are you sure, Amara? Or is it just the fear of losing a dear friend that's haunting you?"

"The fear of losing him has finally hammered the fact into my face that I love him. I really love him, Tara!"

"Well, then, my dear friend, I am happy for you! I am so so so happy for you!"

Tara smiled at her friend warmly, but suddenly her eyes went blank as she was pulled into yet another vision. As she entered the spiritual realm, she found her friend lying dead with bruises all over her body. 
 
Tara dwelled deep inside her vision to see a man standing there with a knife in his hands, his face covered with a maroon mask. 

"I think I will go and tell him that I love him right now!" Amara's voice broke her friend's vision before she could see anything further. 

"Do you think he'll be at his home now or at the library?" Amara asked more of herself than her friend. 

"Oh, silly me, he must be at his home right now. He had told me early this afternoon that he was going to study for a while." Amara lightly hit her forehead with her hand and chuckled at herself. Tara looked at her with a slight fear in her eyes. 

"No! Stop! Don't go!" Tara warned her friend after batting with herself. But as she looked up, she didn't see Amara, as she had already picked up her jolly pace and walked right towards her beau's home. 
 
"The beginning and the end are already written, Amara. I can only postpone what is to come, not completely change it." Tara gave a sad smile to herself and walked off in the opposite direction.

A/N - Hello! I'm back with a new Sumod story. I know, after reading the prologue, it does not seem like a Sumod story, but don't worry, we have Sumod as our main lead. 

A slightly different story where the curse of the past haunts the future of an interesting love story. It is a horror genre, and I'm sure you all will be thrilled to read it.
