Queen Alicent gave birth to her fourth and final child, a baby girl and her second daughter when she was aged just three and twenty. She and her husband named her Daella, Princess Daella.

"It's a girl, your grace" the midwife announced to the young Queen who was already waiting to hold the screaming babe. The woman wrapped the newborn in a blanket before returning her to her mother, "Go alert the King, perhaps he'd like to name her" Alicent asks the maids at her bedside who just nod and hastily exits the room.

Alicent looks down at the babe in her arms and began to rock her while whispering words to try calm her down. The queen couldn't help but smile at her daughter's already prominent blonde hair, "You are so beautiful, aren't you?" Alicent whispers to her newborn. The babe's small murmuring trying to sleep made her mother giggle as Alicent pecked her daughter's forehead with a kiss. The sound of her husband's voice and footsteps began to fill the room. The Queen looked at him, "It's a girl Viserys."

Viserys smiled at the sight of the babe "I came straight from my small council's meeting" he tells Alicent as he approaches and takes the newborn out of the hands of her mother before turning the babe to his hand, Lord Lyonel Strong. "Well I do believe this one resembles you wife" Viserys laughs as Alicent watches the baby in his arms, "She's both of us," Alicent responds to her husband who's cooing at the babe.

"What shall we name her?" Alicent announces to Viserys and his hand, Lord Lyonel Strong stood beside him. Viserys slowly returns the baby girl back into Alicent's arms, and without a moment of thought he proudly bursts out, "Daella, Daella Targaryen." Alicent nods in agreement, "A beautiful name, any special reason?" she asks her husband who's stood above her admiring Daella.

"After Aemma's mother" he says and Alicent's face drops at his words, her daughter shall be named after her father's dead first wife? "She was indeed a wonderful lady, Rhaenyra shall be happy," he adds. "A brilliant choice your grace and a lovely tribute" Lyonel tells Viserys as Alicent looks at them, debating whether she should disagree with them.

Alicent shook off the queer feeling of jealousy of his dead wife as she watched Viserys whisper sweet sayings to their daughter, she thought she was being dramatic as she's been told many times before.

"If you wish it husband" Alicent smiles with clear irritability on her face, and as if Viserys read her mind he puts his arm on her shoulder, "I truly wish I could stay but I must get back to my council's meeting, I shall come visit you both later tonight" he tells her before placing a small kiss on her and Daella's forehead and leaving the room with Lord Strong and leaving the mother and daughter sat alone. Sat alone in each other's presence within the Castle, as it will be for many years to come.

Being a Targaryen, Daella was presented with a dragon egg when she was born. And six years later the young girl's dragon was also born, she named the orange-scaled dragon, Eirax. Her dragon over the years started growing fast, and grew big.

The Princess loved her dragon dearly, often sneaking down to the dragon pit with her elder brother and bad influence Aegon to teach their dragons and more importantly, to learn more about them. She with her siblings, learnt high Valyrian to communicate to her dragon.

But of course over the years Daella felt great pity for her older brother Aemond, as he was the only sibling still missing a dragon. And as her brother and nephews made fun of Aemond, she was there at his side defending him.
