It was nighttime and I was watching a battle between a Nidorino and a Gengar on the TV. I suddenly heard my door open and someone came into my room, but I didn't take my eyes off the TV.
Raven: Y/n, it's time for bed. It's 11 o'clock and you should be asleep.
I then heard someone else come into my room, probably my dad.
Tai: You have a big day tomorrow.
Y/n: I know! I'm really excited for tomorrow! I'm gonna finally go on my own Pokémon journey!
Raven: Have you packed everything you need for tomorrow?
Y/n: Yep! I'm all packed up and ready to go!
I yawned and stretched my arms.
Y/n: Guess it's time for sleep.
I then jumped onto my bed and got underneath the covers.
Raven: Well goodnight!
Tai: Goodnight!
My parents then walked out of my room and closed the door behind them.
Y/n: Goodnight!
Eventually I fell asleep and started dreaming about which Pokémon to pick.
[Morning]
I can hear my alarm clock ringing and I tried to turn it off, but I kept missing it.
Y/n: C'mon alarm clock! I'm trying to sleep!
Tai: Y/n! Get up! You are gonna be late!
Raven: Breakfast is ready!
As soon as I heard breakfast I was already out of bed and on my feet.
Y/n: I'm up! I'm up!
I rushed down to the bathroom, took a quick shower, and put in some clothes.

I ran back to my room and grabbed my backpack, but before I left I grabbed the gift I got from the Pokémon Professor in the Sinnoh region. I put it around my neck and ran downstairs seeing Mom and Dad already eating at the dinner table, so I sat down next to Dad.
Y/n: Morning guys!
Raven & Tai: Morning son!
Raven: Eat up. It's your last home cooked meal, so we made all your favorites.
They had bacon, eggs, fruit smoothie, cereals, hash browns, blueberry muffins, toast, sausages, and pancakes.
Y/n: Sweet! Thanks Mom and Dad!
Tai: Your welcome, kiddo.
I grabbed myself a plate and stuffed my face with a full course breakfast. When I was done I put on my backpack and was getting ready to go to Professor Oak's lab.
