A wounded Suguru Geto stumbled through the alleyways of the Jujutsu High compound, clutching the bleeding stump of what used to be his arm. His battle with Yuta Okkotsu had destroyed his entire right arm, and the blood loss was getting to him. His steps had an odd rhythm and were unsteady. He breathed heavily with a smile on his face.

"Amazing," Geto whispered weakly, falling against a wall as he struggled to stand, "Okkutsu and Rika's strength was magnificent! If I had them on my side, I wouldn't have had to eat so many damn Curses! Even more so, Kryzen-Kun's showcase in Tokyo was excellent! He beat all five of my Finger Bearers in only a few minutes, and that Domain he cast was marvelous! If I had taken him in instead of allowing Satoru to take him, this would've never happened, and my goal would've been complete years ago."

Geto coughed violently, sliding down the wall he used to support his weight. He inhaled sharply and turned, sensing the Cursed Energy of the most important person to him. Satoru Gojo stood tall only a few meters away, looking down at Suguru with his glowing blue Six-Eyes uncovered. His look was solemn, and Suguru's smile dimmed slightly.

"I was wondering what was keeping you, Satoru," The Curse User said. "You stayed out of Okkotsu's way. Why?"

Satoru sighed, "I thought it would be best to let the younger generation triumph and flourish independently. If you were going to win, I would've stepped in and saved him."

Suguru chuckled, "You're much kinder than you used to be, Satoru. I remember you'd tell me you despised the weak and wished you didn't have to save them."

"Being a parent will do that," Satoru said, "My sons took me off that path. I've never valued someone like I value them. I'd do anything to protect them."

"Trust me, I understand," Geto said fondly. I'm the same way about my girls. But, speaking of your boys, did the blast injure Kryzen-kun? I know Fushiguro's okay because I saw him fighting."

"Mahito's okay," Satoru answered, "He saved Maki and Toge and then shielded them with his body."

"I'm glad he saved Inumaki-kun," Suguru said, relieved before his voice turned sour, "Though I don't know why he saved the monkey."

"Because he cares deeply for her," The white-haired Sorcerer responded, "It reminds me of how we used to be when we were their age."

Geto chuckled once again, falling into a small coughing fit.

"My time's almost up," he noted, reaching into his robe to grab something, "Can you return this to Okkotsu-kun?"

Suguru tossed a plastic card that Satoru easily caught. He glanced at it momentarily, seeing that it was Yuta's student ID, which he lost on his first mission at an elementary school.

"The school was you," Satoru noted, and Geto nodded, "Anyway, any last words?"

"No matter what," He began, "I'll always hate those damn monkeys. But I don't harbor any genuine malice towards most of Jujutsu High. I can't be happy in a world like this, where the strong are forced to break their backs for the weak."

A tear slipped from Satoru's eye, and Suguru leaned his head back against the wall, ready to be killed.

"Suguru," he said, catching the Curse User's attention, "I love you."

The long-haired man paused momentarily before smiling softly.

"You should hit me with a few curses at the end."

Satoru raised his middle and index fingers, pointing them at Suguru's head like a gun. A small orb of red energy formed on his fingertips, and Suguru Geto was no more.
