Sometimes ordinary eyes hide extraordinary struggle, and closed lips restrain floods of emotions. Not all wounds can be seen.

I used to wonder why people fell in love while knowing damn well that all they gonna get is hurt, why get involved in something you know the result? everyone heard somewhere or has seen someone falling in love, at first they get all lovey-dovey and then what, all they get is hurt.

Everyone once in their life has thought about this until they get a taste of love.

I laughed at myself wondering
how I used to be and what I am right now.

They call it love when all it gives is pain.

Well, pain is what makes us feel like you know alive.

Looking outside of the window I let my tears out and started to remember from starting from where all of this started and ______ where had I done wrong ___(sigh)___and where it ended.

I'm 16 years old, a high school student.

I live alone in my apartment.
It's funny because I'm younger than most of the people who move out.

Tbh I love to be alone.

My parent made sure everything was secured for me
They visit me every week and I appreciate what they have done for me.

In my apartment, there is a room, kitchen, hall and bathroom.
There are 5 floors in this house.

I usually go upstairs when I need to dry my clothes.

I think everyone does.

The warm glow of evening has descended upon the building, casting a cozy ambiance over the surroundings. As I prepare to embark on a brief journey to retrieve my clothes, I find myself standing at the base of a five-floor ascent. The absence of an elevator means that I, like everyone else, must rely on the trusty stairs to reach my destination.

With a gentle sigh, I begin my climb, my feet touching the first step as I start my upward trajectory. The stairs, a sturdy and reliable companion, will guide me through the next few minutes of my journey. I take a deep breath, feeling the gentle strain on my legs as I ascend, step by step, floor by floor.

As I rise higher, the sounds of the building grow fainter, replaced by the soft creaking of the stairs beneath my feet. The air is filled with the scent of worn wood and the faint hint of dust, a testament to the countless journeys undertaken by those who have come before me.

With each floor, the view changes, offering glimpses into the lives of those who inhabit this space. I catch sight of a family laughing together, a student poring over books, and a couple sharing a quiet moment.

Finally, I reach the fifth floor, my destination. I push open the door, and a warm light spills out, welcoming me to the space where my clothes await. I take a moment to catch my breath, feeling a sense of accomplishment at having conquered the stairs. Now, I can retrieve my clothes and continue on with my evening, feeling refreshed and renewed.

Till I reach there, breathless and happy as I made it in one go, I sit there
Trying to catch my breath as much as I can.

After some time my breathing became normal as I opened my eyes and looked around and the view of my right side caught me off guard the unexpected view
I was surprised
Not able to believe whatever I was looking at, I crunched my eyebrow trying to figure it out that whoever I was looking at was real,

a boy is crisscrossing his leg sitting on the chair and looking at me intently,

I'm not good at guessing age but I could say that he is around 18 or 19 years old and has medium size hair, dark brown eyes, pink plump full lips, a pointed nose,
In other words "mr. perfect" would be appropriate for him.

I didn't believe what I saw because there was no way he'd be real cause
my mother said no boy is living in this house then, how the hell I'm looking for a boy, maybe It's my hallucination
I blinked my eyes multiple times but he didn't move a bit.

Is this a statue?

I looked away and again I looked back but he didn't move.

again not able to believe what I saw I closed my eyes, exhaled a long breath and faced the sun that was not even there anymore but I still kept looking or you could say trying to figure out whether what I saw was real or fake.
.
.
.
I felt some tingling in my right side like someone is watching me.

I instantly moved my face that way and again I saw him, I exhale long breath questioning myself "What's wrong with me did I drink wine or what; I never had a drink, so why the hell out of nowhere I'm watching a boy "
I stick out my tongue to him expecting any reaction so that I can be assured I'm not in heaven yet.

Unfortunately, he didn't react.

Being the impatience person I am,
I faced him Fully and I also stared back at him after a full minute of staring or you could say glaring at each other I sighed
Then finally I dared to ask anyway
"Who are you".

I'm waiting patiently,

I see he is testing my patience level,

This is a statue I guess,
what if he isn't a statue?
I'm frustrated inside but calm on the outside as I don't wanna let him know that he is getting on my nerves.

And the audacity of that unknown guy, he freaking didn't say a word nor even move to confuse me more.

Somewhere in me am not ready to believe that this is a statue.

I swear to god I will kill him even if he is an illusion or whatever.

Then the owner's little daughter did anguish to come upstairs and told him
"Bro Mom is calling you "
Again he didn't say anything just went downstairs along with her little sister.

Then I remembered
My flat's owner once told me she has two daughters and a son, we are pretty close though, she always comes to my room and we talk, eat, and laugh together we are like friends; she is a funny and kind woman.

My flat's owner's name is ruby
I will ask her later about her son.
She used to tell me about him but I never paid any attention.
Why would I?
I wasn't interested in anyone nor I wanted to.

And after that, I took my clothes and came downstairs.

On the 3rd floor, two girls stay here their names are "Alana "and "Elena"
we are best friends we always have sleepovers in each other apartments.

I barged inside her apartment
her apartment is similar to mine
I sat there and said
"Hey have you seen Ruby's son"

"No, and she has a son too," Alana asked excitedly.

" Yes, she had told me but I didn't know he was this handsome;
To be honest, I never paid attention when she used to talk about her son.

Anyway, I just saw him upstairs you won't believe me but he is quite handsome though ". I said.

"Really " Elena said.

" Are you serious simo" Alana said being serious.

"Of course, I am, " I said

"Okay then we will go together next time inform me whenever you decide to go upstairs" Elana said.

" Okay
I'm going now I have a lot to do bye "I said coming outside.

"Bye," both said and I came outside and went straight into my room.
