Under her garments, Jam retrieved a micro flash drive and detached the attachable USB port. With a quick flick, the tiny drive transformed into a miniature camera. She smirked, impressed by Miggy’s ingenuity, and pinned the camera to her chest.

Miggy, now accessing the live feed, stiffened at the sight of the wrecked room.

Meanwhile, a news reporter stood in front of a camera, waiting for the cue to begin his broadcast. Moments later, the footage of Jam inside Jilbert’s apartment streamed live.

As the gruesome scene unfolded, viewers flooded social media with questions. Who had killed Jilbert Guam? And more importantly, who was the person behind the camera?

The reporter took over.

“Public defender Jilbert Guam, 28, was handling the murder case against Isabella Jaime Wilson—who is currently wanted after escaping from prison. As of now, authorities have not located her. However, based on this live footage, Isabella is inside his apartment, capturing this murder scene.”

Miggy gave the reporter a thumbs-up.

Jam hesitated before turning the camera on herself. Her eyes brimmed with tears, her lips quivering as she fought back nausea.

She tried to speak but failed. The second attempt was just as futile. Finally, on the third try, she found her voice.

“I woke up today under the same circumstances. Another bloody room. Another corpse. Another accusation.”

Her voice cracked. She clenched her fists before meeting the camera’s gaze again.

“I’ve swum across the vast ocean, crawled through sewers, endured beatings inside prison. I was sexually assaulted by an officer. Tortured with electric shocks. But in the end, I found myself back in the same nightmare.”

She wiped her tears, steel hardening her expression.

“But this time, I chose to be here. I willingly stepped into this hell, knowing the danger. I didn’t escape to run from my crimes. Because I committed none! I am not a murderer!” she cried out.

Her words ignited a frenzy. Viewers were torn between sympathy and doubt. The live broadcast was even projected at Carter’s event, sending ripples of shock across the audience.

Within minutes, the footage spread like wildfire, dominating social media and major news networks.

“It’s trending now,” Ara murmured, monitoring the screen.

Miggy glanced at her. She was eerily calm—too composed for someone who had been fearful just moments ago. His eyes narrowed, unsettled by her sudden detachment.

Then, Jam’s voice crackled through the broadcast. “As you can see, Jilbert was my cousin—my lawyer. And I didn’t kill him. He was murdered in his old apartment and brought here to stage a crime scene. This was meant for someone else—a different woman was supposed to wake up and take the fall. But I took her place. I saved her.”

She took a shaky breath, her expression hardening. “I know none of this makes sense without proof—but I have it. And for now, let me tell you who the real enemy is.”

Her voice sharpened. “Captain Lenard De Castro. A retired detective who built a business by framing innocent people for crimes. He’s made a fortune staging murders, turning victims into villains—only to swoop in and play the savior. But he’s no hero. He’s a monster.”

She leveled the camera with a burning gaze. “For now, these may seem like mere accusations. But I’m about to prove to the world just how twisted this man truly is.”
