DAYS PASSED, and once again, Adam Birch found his way to Ahana. It was their fourth class together, and he consistently chose to sit beside her. She found herself enjoying his company; he had a knack for making her laugh, even at her most mundane jokes.

Somehow, Adam always managed to make her hair turn pink, a playful quirk that never failed to fluster Ahana.

Meanwhile, her interactions with James had become less frequent. Their project was progressing smoothly, and their patrols had become routine. They rarely exchanged more than a forced smile or a brief acknowledgment, leaving Ahana feeling surprisingly indifferent towards the absence of their usual banter.

"So, Ms. Tej," Adam began, walking beside her with their books in hand. Ahana glanced at him, her lips curling into a soft smile.

"D'want to go to Hogsmeade with me? As a date, of course," he grinned. Ahana's cheeks flushed as her hair turned pink, framing her face in a rosy hue. Adam laughed softly, his hand gently brushing her hair behind her ear as he held her gaze.

"Yeah, sure," she replied, her voice slightly breathless as she looked up at him. He smiled widely, taking her hand and placing a kiss on it before they parted ways outside her Potions class.
