I hate my birthday. I know, totally random, right? But hear me out - it's not your typical birthday tale. I mean, being kidnapped on that day? That's a whole different story.
It was a day like any other until everything changed in an instant. One moment I was celebrating with my friends and family, and the next, I found myself in a strange place, surrounded by unfamiliar faces.
On your big day, your family gathers to shower you with love and cheer. But hey, there's one more crucial ingredient you can't forget: pure, unadulterated happiness!
It's not like I'm lacking in the happiness department (which I totally am), but thanks to Amir and Demitri for sprinkling some joy in my life. But hey, there's still room for more happiness. Like real family I guess.
You know, Demitri and Amir have always had my back, and I adore them like family. But hey, they're not really my kin.
It's like........ never mind you wouldn't understand.
I sighed as I lay in my bed thinking about happiness, happiness I'm never gonna get cause I don't deserve it.
Then all of a sudden there was a loud knock on my door that startled me and my thoughts
"What?!" I yelled aggravated
Then the door opened and a smiling Amir came into my room
"Well good morning to you too sleeping beauty," he said grinning
"What do you want Amir, you better not be asking me to make breakfast for you. It is 1:00 am, so it better be a very good reason" I said in an unsettling calm tone
Amir let out a nervous chuckle. "As tempting as that sounds, that's not it. Demitri has a new mission lined up for us. Suit up, and head down to The Room, he will tell you more information."
And with that, he left.
While sighing I get up and head to my walk-in closet
