"Come on Rose. Get back to the couch already."
Nags Shadow as she tries to guide Amy back to the couch.
Amy on the other hand is huffing at him.
"But I need to 'sniff' clean the house and 'sniff' wash the clothes, and..."
"And you need to get over your cold, and you won't do that if you don't lay back down with a warm blanket and relax."
Says Shadow as he cuts her off. Amy got a cold, but she gets bored of just laying in bed, or on the couch in this case, and doing nothing.
"But..."
"No but. Lay down. Now."
He demanded.
Amy pouts her lips and flops down on the couch annoyed. But then Shadow sits down next to her and wraps his arm around her and presses her down so she lays with her head on his lap. He then pulls the blanket over her, making sure she is tucked in.
"Uhm, Shadow?"
She asks as she peeks up at him.
"If you promise me you will lay there and focus on healing, then I'll give you head scratches in return. Deal?"
He asks as he looks down at her.
"Deal."
She replies. Closing her eyes, she starts purring as soon his fingers start rubbing her head with care.
