They found a bush that produced some kind of weird fruit. It seemed edible so they ate it, all still resting on the mountain. Except Colton. He sat at the edge of the cliff as he looked up at the sky. It was prettier than the one back home. This sparkled with dust. It was dark pink. There was a feeling in himself. He was confused about something he couldn't bring up. Just then, he sensed someone sitting next to him. He saw Ophelia in his peripheral vision. She sat down and didn't say anything.
"Do you need something?" Colton asked her as he turned his head her way. "More like, do you need something, you're not acting normal." Ophelia asked, then tugged on her hoodie. "I'm confused." He sighed. "About what? You can tell me, no judgment here." Ophelia confirmed. Colton hesitated for a bit until he saw the pin on her top. It was a bisexual flag that was also heart shaped.
"I feel some type of way near Will. How do I explain it. Like- I feel appreciated near him." Colton explained. Ophelia already started catching on but asked him for more detail. "It feels exactly how I felt near Kelsey Jade in the sixth grade." He confessed.
"Colton, I think you're crushing on Will."
"What?! No!"
"Don't fight it man."
"Okay maybe a little bit."
"This is great!"
"So I'm gay for Will?"
"Yeah! Though if you're still attracted to girls then maybe consider being bisexual or pansexual!"
"Okay, how do I fix it?!"
"Fix it?"
"Yeah! Like not be gay!"
"That's not really how it works."Ophelia got up and walked back to the rest. Leaving Colton to think about his feelings more. He knew that he liked Will romantically but pondered everyone else's reaction. Would Will even like him? Ophelia was the only one who knew about this. What if she told everyone? Not to mention that if this got back to camp with his friends. They would make fun of him. Or if his parents found. His homophobic, sexist, and racist parents.
"Ophelia, could we— talk?" Colton walked over to her. She nodded.
"I know it's not like you to do such a thing but could you keep this a secret? I don't want anyone knowing yet. Swear you won't tell a soul." Colton exclaimed. "Everything stays inside. Colton, I already knew you were uncomfortable with the consciousness of being anything but straight. Of course I'll give you more time to think about it. I don't intend on telling anyone." She smiled. He then smiled back at her. They both walked back to the rest.
"How's the leg doing?" Colton asked. "She won't be able to use it much for now." Corbin huffed as he unbandaged her to check on the wound. "Thanks for lifting me." Lilith winced in pain. "Question, what sports do you play to be able to lift Lilith?" Will asked. "I've done basketball, football, wrestling, and baseball." Colton informed. Will's eyes brightened up. "Woah!" Will called. Colton smirked. His father forced him to get into sports to avoid liking things for girls. Like dancing, singing, or acting. He couldn't complain since he does like sports. He just doesn't want to be overwhelmed with them.
"It's time to go to sleep, let me get the rope." Corbin stood. Scarlet continued to stare furiously at Colton. "These cuffs are killing me man." Corbin shook his head. "They're also keeping me from bashing Colton's HEAD OPEN!" Scarlet attempted to attack the blonde boy but was pulled back with the cuffs.
