Beomgyu's agency HYBE Labels commented on January 1, "The two are getting to know each other."
Nora's agency SM Entertainment similarly commented, "Nora and Beomgyu are getting to know each other."

On December 31, Dispatch reported that the two stars first met as schoolmates and through mutuals, and have been dating for four months. The report states that the two stars usually meet near Han River and have been spotted strolling affectionately on late night walks.

When questioned about the report, Beomgyu's agency briefly commented, "We are currently checking."
Nora's agency has yet to comment on the rumours.
