The car ride for Sukuna was kinda awkward
Nobara and he sat in the back seat of the car, facing each other's opposite. He could faintly hear her muffled cries, though her cries would never really bother him, but the reason she was crying bothered him to no ends
Because it involved his human
"Sukuna?"
His thoughts came to an end, when Nobara called him
He hummed in acknowledgment, kinda curious to know what the brat wanted to say
"You're.... You're so evil... You have so much hate in yourself, yet... You even fall in love with Kana sensei... How could they do that to her after all she did for them?"
She quietly asked
Sukuna heard her without saying anything. He let her finish and a heavy sigh left his lips
While looking outside the window
"That's why I don't think humans deserve to live, brat. They backstab the people who are actually good people... I won't say I'm in love with her, but I did take a liking to her"
Nobara actually snorted at his answer
"Yeah, right! I can assure you are in love with her. I've seen the way you look at her. Like she's a full course meal"
Sukuna lightly glared at her, thinking she might have lost her shit
She was chuckling though, her voice cracking from time to time, groggy from all the crying earlier
"But Sukuna... Don't be morons like them. If she does love you, I know she'll never let you feel anything other than love... Don't miss a chance you have it"
Now if it was another time, Sukuna would have killed her instantly for ordering him this, but her words made him weirdly calm
Like someone just flashed a bucket of cold water in his body, making him see a light he had never seen before
He finally looked at her. She was looking outside, her eyes were swollen and red from all the crying
"This human is crying for her as if she's the one in pain... Really, how could someone be so cruel to her?"
Sukuna thought to himself
"Sukuna-sama, young lady, we are here"
Sukuna sighed, realizing they didn't even notice they arrived
Nobara quickly got out, Sukuna following suit
They entered the house and one of the kakushis told Sukuna Kana was waiting for him in the dining table
They nodded, washed themselves to look presentable
They went to the table and sure enough, Kana was sitting there browsing through her phone with a dainty pout on her face
"Kanroji sensei?"
Kana's head snapped towards them, she looked surprised to see Nobara at first. But that surprise changed into concern pretty quickly when she saw how miserable the young girl looked
She instantly went to Mama mode
As she rushed to hug her, her eyes met with the man she was waiting for
She gently smiled at him, mouthing "sorry, give me a minute"
Sukuna just gave her a bored look
She hugged Nobara
"What happened to you, pretty-chan? Why did you cry?"
She asked in concern
