     Well, the day is here at last - you're on your way to Beacon Academy. As you look down on the city from your place by the hovercraft's window, you recall how much work and dedication it has taken to get here. Hundreds of hours of training, dozens of late nights of studying, and too much good luck to measure.
     Beacon has been your dream since before you could run a mile in three minutes, before you'd stepped through the doors of Signal, before you'd learned to control your aura. And now look where you are.
     Your adopted brother Nick comes up and looks out the window beside you. It's also his first year at Beacon.
     "Wow. You can see everything from up here," he says, his brown eyes wide. "I can't believe this is actually happening."
     "Me either. It's... it's insane. I can't wait for fighting, I can't wait for teams, I can't wait! And all four of us are going together," you say.
     By 'all four of us' you mean you, Nick, and your friends, Isell and Laine. Isell and Laine are also siblings, and, like Nick, Isell is adopted. You're secretly hoping you'll all be on the same team, but you know it's unlikely.
     Who knows? Anything could happen.
