today was a big day. i mean big. today i was finding our whether i was going to have a role in a movie or not. i mean this movie has a huge franchise. i was finding if i had a role in the new disney movie , zombies 4.
i grew up watching these movies as a kid, and now that i could possibly have a role in the 4th one is so surreal. so here i was, sitting at my desk in my room, laptop propped up in front of me, waiting to get a invite to join the zoom call from the casting director. i was so nervous.
i probably sat there for about 10 minutes, before the invite appeared on laptop screen. i moved quickly and pressed 'join'. "hi!" a blonde girl immediately said. it was meg. i had met meg before, well not in person. "hi meg!" i replied with a smile.
"hi kinley, how are you?!" milo then asked. again, i had also met milo before in the auditions. "i'm doing good, very nervous." i chuckled nervously.
"no need to be nervous! in fact, we have great news for you!" the casting director said. my eyes widened as i waited patiently for him to continue, instead meg spoke up.
"your audition was amazing, we really loved watching you. sooo, we would to offer you the role of 'Nova' in the movie?!" i gasped and froze. "oh my god! yes, thank you so much!" i said excitedly, though trying to remain calm.
"congratulations!" the producer said and i smiled at thanked him. "we look forward to seeing you in new zealand!" meg said. "me too! i cant wait to meet all of you!" and with that, the zoom call ended.
