Ah, highschool. The pinnacle of how many people believe their lives will actually amount to something grand and over the top; well some do actually reach their goals and have promising futures, but some not so much for an example the high school quarterback ends up working a minimum wage job at Home Depot or something ridiculous

Sure. Everyone doesn't like high school for whatever reason they can cling onto and it was the same for Richard; one of the only reasons why he kept coming back despite having enough credits to graduate early was to take of his little brother

And speaking of Mark Grayson, he was about to do something incredibly stupid yet in his mind was meant to brave; Todd the typical bully of highschool was 'hitting' on a girl called Amber but Todd wasn't taking 'no' was an answer

William:Don't. The guys twice your size..

William says warning his best friend to seriously not get involved with this but Mark shook his head refusing to stand idly by and watch this go any further

Mark:Maybe you can sit back and watch this but I can't..

Mark walks past William and speaks up loud enough for everyone to turn their attention to him

Mark:*clears throat* I think Amber's been pretty clear about she feels..Todd

Todd turns around and rolls his eyes at Mark's attempted jump in to help out Amber as the typical bully clenches his fists

Todd:*scoffs* Are you serious, Grayson?

Before Mark could say anything, he is met by a punch straight in the face followed by another punch to the stomach as Mark is barely able to stand up after those hits; Todd gets ready to land another punch but he is grabbed by the back of his shirt and thrown to the lockers to the left

Todd slams into the lockers and groans having being thrown like he was nothing; the bully slowly looks up to see the person responsible for flinging him as his eyes widen a bit, Richard grabs Todd by his shirt once again and effortlessly lifts the bully up and off the ground

"Now. I could've sworn you just hit my brother.."

Mark is helped up by William as Richard turns his head back to see his little brother still groaning in pain; Richard slams Todd into the lockers again leaving a small dent in them as we see the look of anger in Richard's eyes as Todd can only tremble in fear

Todd:I-I'm sorry! I---I swear I wont do it again! P-Please just let me go!

Richard could see how quickly Todd's confidence dwindled, it was like a small flame had been extinguished by a powerful gust of wind; Richard always had to be careful with people..he had to hold back sometimes

"Good. Because the next time I see you anywhere near my brother..I'll do more than just throw you into some lockers"

Richard tosses Todd to the ground as all of the students huddle up to see the bully quivering with fear in his eyes as Richard glares at Todd

"Now get the hell out of my sight.."

Todd gets up and immediately makes a run for it as we see him run for his life; Richard walks past Amber not even acknowledging her as his threatening demeanor changes to a normalized one

Mark:Did you really have to do that to him?

Mark asks his older brother wanting to know if Todd being tossed could've been avoided even if he was punched across the face by the highschool bully
