"Anika are you sure you haven't met the chairman before" lavanya asked curious and Anika still had the same response
"He feels very familiar but I have no idea where I have met him" Anika replied a little lost
"Alright let's not think about it anymore..." Khushi dismissed
"Good news is he liked your designs and he's willing to collaborate with us" lavanya said..
"my...my...designs?" Anika stammered
"Yeah...why else do you think we brought you here" khushi said
"SSO's only condition was that you'd be involved in the collaboration and that your designs would be used besides KR" Lavanya clarified
Anika almost choked on the water she was about to drink...
"Alright let's go back we still have work to do" Lavanya declared
"Since this is a joint venture between me and KR would it be possible to meet her in person" Anika asked nervously
"KR is busy with some personal stuff at the moment so I am afraid the work will have to be done online" lavanya said
"But don't worry you'll see KR at the company's Annual celebration" she continued
Anika hummed a response and collected her things to leave ....
" Anika KR has a lot of faith in you ... Don't disappoint her" lavanya said
"I won't" Anika said with conviction
Now that the meeting was done, they decided to come back to the company
The trio was still lost when they entered and Khushi almost collided with a tall artist.looking man...
"Watch where you are going" khushi blurted
Out and looked up to see the most artist looking person you could imagine..
Long black hair that reached his shoulders , a button down white shirt , a checkered scarf wrapped around his neck and an elegant pair of glasses , the man looked more like art than artist...
"I am sorry I didn't see you" he said
"Hi Omkara" Lavanya greeted
"Hello Miss Kashyap"
"Khushi,Anika this is Omkara" lavanya.introduced
"He is the new fabric designer we hired" lavanya said
"Hi khushi, Hi bha...Hi mean Anika" Om stammered
"Hello" khushi and Anika said
Khusji noticed that Om cast a longer eye on Anika as if he knew her...
"Mr.Singh it's a pleasure meeting you" Anika extended her hand
"Pleasure is all mine...and please call me Om" He said
"Sure"
"Since it's my first day here, I'll be looking forward to your guidance " Om smiled at Khushi and Anika
Something about the way Om looked at Anika made khushi think that perhaps he already knew her but khushi.decided to not intervene..
"That's great...I too am new here" khushi.chimed in and then it was instant friendship between the two..
Lavanya looked at khushi a little surprised because Khushi wasn't someone who made friends that quickly but now that Khushi had chosen to befriend Om , lavanya would respect her decision...
"Alright guys enough bharat Milaap... let's get back to work"lavanya teased the group and.they all dispersed
Hardly had they gone a few step ahead when Khushi felt a stabbing pain in her stomach and was about to fall down but Om caught her in the nick of time...
