INFRONT OF A&D STRAND BUILDING - G. TOLENTINO ROOM

Sweats are forming on my forehead as I walked on the entrance of the builing. Ang layo ng nilakad ko. Students are shamelessly looking at me, thinking what might be the Student Council President doing here.

I cleared my throat.

Riyah
Good morning...

Everyone snapped their heads towards my direction. I put a smile when I saw familliar face looking at me.

LA
Uy, Riyah! Bakit nandito ka?

Riyah
Hello, do you have a class?

LA
Wala naman, Riyah.

Riyah
May I ask... kung may naligaw na papel ko rito?
Sa Quiz namin 'yon sa Philo, naiwan raw ni Ma'am, e.

LA
Sige, sige. Tanungin ko sila.

Ale! Jev!

I heard LA asked his friends and classmates. I sighed when I realized. Ang hassle naman nito.

Ale
Ano 'yon, LA?

I looked at the man who suddenly appear on the door, behind me. His baritone voice gave me goosebumps. Tall, tan, and has a smiles playing around his lips.

LA
Ale! Jev! May nakita ka bang paper na naligaw from STEM? Kayo yata 'yung nagcheck noong nakaraan.

Kay Riyah daw 'yun.

Jev
Hanapin ko.

And there is another man beside 'Ale'. He looks so chinito.

Ale
Huwag mo nang hanapin.

My forehead creased when I heard him said that.

Riyah
What?

LA (whispering)
Huy. Lintek na 'to.
Hanapin niyo 'yun.

Ale chuckled. His laughs reached his eyes.

Jev (whispering)
Tangina mo, Ale. 'Pag 'yan nagalit.

Ale (smiling)
Chill! Eto na, kukunin ko lang sa bag ko.

I sighed.

LA
Ayun daw, Riyah.

Riyah
Salamat.

LA
Nag-meeting kayo kanina diba? Kasama mga class presidents?

Riyah
Yes, pati SC officers. Hindi ka pumunta.

LA
Oo nga, e. Pinatawag din ako ng adviser namin. Representative ang pinadala ko, 'yung VP namin.

Riyah
Hmm. I see. There's no problem naman if you can't attend basta may representative.

LA was about to answer when I saw Ale is holding my folded 1/2 lengthwise paper. What a relief.

Ale
Tabi, pare. Bigay ko lang papel niya.

Miss President, papel niyo ho.

I frowned when he called me that. His smirks never leave his lips. Nakakabanas.

Riyah
Salamat ulit.
Una na ako, LA.

LA
Sige lang!

I was about to turned my back on them when this young man whispered somehing again.

Ale
Ang ganda nga pala ng penmanship mo. Linis.

I sarcastically smiled.

Riyah
Thanks.

Then finally turned my back on them.

Ale (smiling)
Check mo checkings ko, ah? Baka may mali, e.

But now I got another problem. How will I give this paper to my subject teacher. Tangina.

 Tangina
