"JOSIE, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CONVINCED ME YOU WERE FEELING BETTER BEFORE THE GAME." paige sighed, handing the brunette more medicine to reduce her fever. "i was actually feeling better, but you know how my anxiety gets during big games." she sniffed, rubbing nika's back as she slept beside her. they had just landed back in storrs a few hours ago, and they were catching up on all the sleep they missed due to all the games they had.

"i thought kk was gonna faint whenever you got taken out. she didn't make a basket until you came running back out." paige whispered, sitting beside josie on her bed. josie sniffled again, motioning for paige to come lay beside her. nika rolled over in her sleep, which allowed josie and paige to have more room in her bed. josie smiled, thinking about the freshman. kk has looked up to josie basically since she came and toured uconn. kamorea was taking a tour of the arena, and josie was practicing one on one with someone from the men's team. kk felt drawn to the way josie played, and how you could just tell how much she loved the sport just by her practicing.

kk waited until josie took a break, before walking over to her. the brunette smiled at kamorea, waving her over. "are you kamorea?" josie pulled at her ponytail, looking over at geno as he made his way into the gym. "yeah! but everyone just calls me kk for short.." she nodded, pulling kk into a hug. "i'm josie, but you can honestly call me anything. most of the girls just call me jojo but it's really up to you." she pulled out of the hug, smiling at kk. "speaking of like..everyone else, where are they?" the younger girl asked, looking around the gym. "oh, they are either lifting weights or back at the house. today was an off day so we really just catch up on things we have been needing to do." the girls fell into a conversation, as they walked around the gym.

josie zoned back into what paige was saying, feeling fingers running through her hair. she let out a cough, relaxing her body into paige's warmer one. "are you cold, jos?" the blonde wrapped an arm around josie's waist, pulling her closer into her. josie nodded, despite her face feeling like it was on fire. paige frowned at that, tracing circles on the girls hip. "nika looks so peaceful whenever she's asleep." josie giggled, playing with the ends of the croatian girls hair. the three girls were all in josie's massive bed, since 'it's the comfiest.'

paige mumbled something in reply, her breathing starting to calm as she was also falling asleep. josie rolled over so that she was facing paige's chest, before wrapping her arms around the blonde. paige smiled, leaning down to give the girl a peck on her head. "please don't get sick on me." paige mumbled, closing her eyes. "no promises." josie held back a smile, tucking her face into paige's neck before falling asleep.
