Adalyn was in the Bayou with Eve as she prepared for labor by doing breathing exercises, she was getting closer to giving birth each day and she was scared. Eve had been helping the young girl understand the process and how it feels along with it.

"That's it, inhale and release," Eve spoke in calming voice

"I guess this means no epidural, huh? Are you sure I can't do this thing in, say, a hospital, the place with the doctors and the drugs?" Adalyn asked the woman

"Honey, the werewolves have been having babies out here since before you were born so stop worrying," Eve directed the werewolf

"Okay then what, Eve? I don't even know what it's like to have a mother, let alone be one," Adalyn spoke in despair

"Trust me, you'll know exactly what to do when the time comes," Eve stated with a nod

"I hope so as fun as it is to imagine Klaus changing dirty diapers, I'm pretty sure that I'll be doing this alone," Adalyn admitted in a soft voice

"I somehow doubt that," Eve spoke with a chuckle

"I'm just worried about how Klaus' enemies are going to react about the twins, my own twin brother tried to kill me and the twins already so there's no telling who else is coming," Adalyn spoke as she rubbed her belly

"Worries and Stress aren't good for them either, they will be okay," Eve spoke before the door opened

"Pardon the interruption. I wonder if I might have a quick word with the conspirators of a supposed uprising," Elijah spoke looking at Eve

"I should get going back to the compound before Klaus starts to worry," Adalyn spoke as she stood up

Adalyn had walked past Elijah before walking down the trail and getting into her car, after a few hours of getting the room set up some more she had heard from Hayley that there was a bombing in the bayou after she left.

"I'm in a bit of a situation here, love," Klaus spoke as he answered the phone

"Somebody sent a suicide bomber out to the bayou this morning," Adalyn stated causing his heart to drop

"What? Where are you?" Klaus questioned with concern

"I'm in the city now, Hayley said it happened five minutes after I left but I figured an attack like that must have been Marcel, I mean he's hated the wolves for years so I tracked him down and I thought you might like to help kick his ass for trying to blow us to kingdom come," Adalyn spoke in a knowing voice

"Hey, listen. I assure you, once I am finished here, you will have my undivided attention but in the meantime, please stay out of trouble," Klaus pleaded with her

"You don't have to worry, Elijah and Hayley are with me," Adalyn part-lied before hanging up and going inside

"I'd offer you a drink, but..." Marcel spoke before looking at her bump

"Sweet pad," Adalyn remarked to the vampire

"Oh, it's just temporary, and believe it or not, I still got a few of those kicking around. I need friends to keep me informed, to warn me when someone is coming looking to blame me for things that I didn't do, and for the record, you didn't have to work Diego like that so you and I are long overdue for a chat," Marcel spoke looking at the other wolf

"You want to talk, talk," Hayley stated with anger

"You're a lot like your dad in that way, I knew your whole family. In fact, if you knew them like I did, you'd know just how many enemies they have. Back in the nineties, it was the Crescent Wolves who took over the city or, tried to. They lived to throw down, and they were good at it, too. They didn't care who they killed as long as they got more power," Marcel explained some more

"So the Crescent curse was your way of stopping them? How heroic," Hayley remarked with an eye roll

"It was either that, or kill them all, and I'm not big on indiscriminate slaughter, and see, I have this thing about kids," Marcel stated looking at the bump again

"So we've heard," Adalyn remarked with a sigh

"Oh, you did more than hear about it, Andrea Labonair and you're living proof," Marcel stated eyeing Hayley

Adalyn decided it was time for her to leave as this was about Hayley's family and she wanted Hayley to be able to learn about them by herself rather than with her there. She had been tired when she came back to the compound so she had gone right to bed for the night.
