Despite the children's reluctance, Lucifer continued to bond with them. He suggested various activities, from playing games to storytelling, but the children remained aloof, keeping their distance from their grandfather.

Tsume watched with concern and understanding, knowing that her children needed time to adjust to bonding with Lucifer. She gently encouraged them to give him a chance, reminding them that he was family and meant no harm.

As the day progressed, Lucifer's attempts to connect with the children became more earnest. He shared stories of his own childhood adventures in Hell, hoping to capture their interest and affection. But it wasn't until Lucifer suggested a trip to the park that the children finally relented. With Tsume's encouragement, they reluctantly agreed to accompany him, albeit with a hint of skepticism. Lucifer went out of his way to make the experience enjoyable for the children at the park. He pushed them on the swings, played tag with them, and even treated them to ice cream from the nearby vendor.

The children's reservations gradually faded as they warmed up to their grandfather. They laughed and played alongside him, their initial hesitance giving way to genuine enjoyment. As the sun began to set, Lucifer watched with pride and joy as his grandchildren finally embraced him as part of their family. As they returned home, tired but happy, Tsume couldn't help but feel grateful for the bond that was beginning to form between her children and their grandfather. As Lucifer enjoyed a playful afternoon with his grandchildren in the garden, Charlie and Tsume found a moment alone in the kitchen. With a gentle smile, Tsume leaned against the countertop, watching the children through the window.

"It's nice to see them getting along with Grandfather," Tsume remarked, her voice tinged with relief.

Charlie nodded, her expression softening. "Yeah, it is. I was worried they might never warm up to him, but he's really trying."

Tsume's gaze drifted back to Lucifer and the children, a faint smile playing on her lips. "I think they're starting to see him differently now. He's not just the King of Hell to them anymore—he's their grandfather."

Charlie chuckled softly. "Yeah, I guess you're right. It's strange to think of Lucifer as a doting grandfather, but he really seems to care about them."

As they watched the scene outside, laughter and playful shouts filled the air, a testament to the newfound bond between Lucifer and his grandchildren. And in that moment, Charlie and Tsume shared a silent understanding—recognising the unexpected but undeniable joy that family can bring, even in the most unlikely of circumstances.

Charlie turned to Tsume, her brows furrowed with concern. "Hey, Tsume, I've been meaning to ask... How are you planning to get back to Heaven? I mean, I know it's not exactly easy to just hop between realms."

Tsume's expression softened, a hint of uncertainty flickering in her eyes. "Yeah, I've been thinking about that too. It's not like I can just spread my wings and fly back home."

Charlie nodded sympathetically. "I wish there was an easy solution, but with the barriers between Hell and Heaven, it's going to be complicated."

Tsume sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I know. And with the kids here... I can't just leave them behind."

Charlie reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Tsume's shoulder. "We'll figure something out, Tsume. Maybe there's a way to appeal to the higher-ups or find someone who knows a thing or two about interdimensional travel."

Tsume's lips curved into a grateful smile. "Thanks, Charlie. I appreciate your optimism. It's just... hard, you know? I miss Heaven, but I don't want to leave my kids behind."

Charlie squeezed her shoulder gently. "I understand. But we'll find a way to make it work. You have people here who care about you, and we'll do whatever it takes to help you get back home."

With a nod of determination, Tsume straightened up. "Yeah, you're right. We'll find a way. Together."

As Alastor returned from his meeting, his heart warmed at the sight of his children running towards him, their smiles lighting up their faces. He knelt down to their level, embracing each of them tightly as they showered him with hugs.

"Dad, you're back!" Sota exclaimed, wrapping his arms around Alastor's neck.

Alastor chuckled, ruffling Sota's hair affectionately. "Of course, I am. I wouldn't miss spending time with you all for anything."

Wataru and Watari joined in the hug, their laughter filling the room. Alastor's gaze then shifted to Mayu, who toddled over to him, her arms outstretched for a hug. He scooped her up, planting a gentle kiss on her cheek. Meanwhile, Lucifer watched from a distance, his expression unreadable. Alastor and Lucifer locked eyes briefly, a silent tension hanging between them. Alastor's jaw tightened slightly, his dislike for Lucifer evident in his gaze. He knew Lucifer didn't approve of him being around Tsume and the children, but he was determined to be a part of their lives no matter what. Lucifer's eyes narrowed, a subtle warning in his gaze as he observed Alastor with his children. He didn't trust Alastor and harboured doubts about his intentions towards Tsume and the family. Despite his reservations, Lucifer couldn't deny Alastor's genuine affection towards the children.

As the children continued to chatter excitedly, Alastor and Lucifer remained locked in a silent standoff, their conflicting emotions simmering beneath the surface. Ignoring the tension between himself and Lucifer, Alastor focused on his children, delighting in their presence. "So, what did you all do while I was away?" he asked, trying to steer the conversation towards lighter topics. Sota eagerly began recounting their afternoon activities, describing the games they played and the mischief they got into. Wataru and Watari chimed in with their own versions of the day's events, each adding their unique perspectives to the story.

Mayu, told her dad about the tea party she had, her laughter filling the room. Alastor couldn't help but smile at her infectious joy, grateful for these precious moments with his children. As the evening wore on, Alastor decided to take the children outside to play in the garden, hoping to distract them from the tension in the air. He scooped up Mayu and held her close, while Sota, Wataru, and Watari eagerly followed him outside, their laughter echoing in the night air.
