Chapter 10 - Forgiveness

Wanda looked up when she heard someone enter.

Her face filled with disgust.

"So, you found out." She growled as Bucky stalked forward.

He couldn't even say anything, all he did was stare at her with anger in his eyes.

"I was doing it for her own good." She growled as Bucky stepped even closer.

"You know what be for her own good? If I reached into your chest and ripped out your beating heart and step on it." He grumbled, lowly as she looked at him and chuckled softly.

"Was I supposed to rely on you to protect her? When you're the one that's hurt her so many times?" She said as Bucky's eye twitched in annoyance.

"All of those times were accidents. You chose to torture her!" He screamed as her eyes darkened and she stared at him.

"Nothing you say will change my mind."

You slowly began to open your eyes as Tony looked down at you, hope evident in his face.

You looked at him and squinted your eyes a little.

"Tony?" You asked as he smiled and squeezed your hand.

"Yes, yes it's me. It's me, Y/N." He said smiling as he leant in closer.

"Where's...Wanda?" You muttered as Strange looked down at you from the other side of your bed.

"She's locked away, you're safe now." He said as you nodded a little.

"I'm so happy to see you." You whispered as Tony chuckled and kissed your forehead softly.

"And I'm so happy to see you. I missed you so much." He said before Bucky entered the room and rushed up to you.

"Y/N, you're awake." He said rushing to your side to hold your other hand.

You laughed tiredly, tears coming to your eyes.

"Bucky." You whispered making him smile.

"I'm right here."

After a few hours Strange helped you to sit up on your own and he decided it was okay for you to start eating.

You watched him bring over some food.

"I didn't realise how hungry I was... You know after I'm better I'm getting so much take away food." You said making them chuckle softly.

"It's a promise." Bucky replied as you began eating.

When you were done you looked at Strange.

"I want to see her." You muttered as they all looked at you in shock.

"Y/N, I really don't think that's a good idea." Strange said as you sighed sadly.

Suddenly you heard someone call your name and everyone turned around to see Wanda.

"Wait! Before you kill me! Please, I'm sorry. I thought...for a while and I know what I did was wrong. I just couldn't lose you again." She whispered as you continued to stare at her.

"Wanda-" Strange was about to say something when you cut him off.

"Wait... I want to talk to her. Alone." You said as the team looked at you in shock.

"You can stand right outside... But I need a moment alone." You said, looking at Bucky.

He knew by that look he could trust you.

He turned back to Wanda with hatred in his eyes.

"You have five minutes, that's it." He growled as she nodded and slowly walked over as they walked away.

You couldn't help but start to cry.

"Why..." You whispered as she rushed to you and held your face in her hand.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I just...I couldn't lose you, I was so blinded by my power and just keeping you happy that I couldn't see what it was doing. I love you so much and it drove me insane." She whispered, tears welling in her eyes.

She leant forward and tried to kiss you before you turned away.

"No... You can't just do that. You can't just make it better." You whispered as she nodded.

"I know, darling, I know. But, I promise you I'm going to spend every moment of every day trying to make it up to you, okay?" She said as you looked at her and nodded a little.

"Okay...."
