Why do I allow your coldness to bother me?
Why do I allow your silence to bruise me?
Why do I feel sad just because you decided to be cold towards me?
Why are reminding me of the heart wrenching pain I've forgotten?
Why are you trying to break my heart when all I long for is love?
Why are you reminding me how weak I am?
Why are you awakening the feelings that scare me to death?
Why can't you just give me a hug when I need one?
Why can't you give me your attention without making me look like a fool?
Why can't you love me more than your shoes?
