To say that Canada is done saying sorry, is now but an understatement. The unpopularity of Trudeau's Liberal government gave way for the Conservatives to come back into the light. Now allied with the libertarian-leaning People's Party, Pierre Poilievre has been appointed as Prime Minister.

Yet despite the new coalition, Poilievre must deal with the remaining Liberals and reel in the hardliners in the Bloc Québécois from doing anything irrational. He has since enforced stronger ties with the United States, but keeps it at an arms length to ensure Canadian sovereignty is preserved from their brother to the south.
