"What happened?" Jace asked walking into Clary's burnt bedroom. Alec was sitting on the floor with a passed out Sienna resting in his lap. "Where's Clary?"
"Clary and Simon got arrested when I was securing the fire escape." Alec answered. Izzy looked at him sadly noticing the dried tears on his face.
"The mundane was here?" Jace asked furious. It was obvious that Jace was blinded by his jealousy.
"Simon? He's gone to?" Isabelle asked, her voice disappointed.
"It was an unmarked car. I don't know where they took her." Alec explained.
"All of you shut up, my head hurts" Sienna groaned out in pain.
"Thank Raziel, you're awake." Alec breathed out, pulling his wife into his chest.

"Alec, concentrate." Jace said in a tone of desperation. "Alec!"
"I'm doing it. She's just not showing up"
"Just like I thought. Clary wasn't arrested." Izzy exclaimed to the boys as her phone chimed.
"It was your job to look after her." Jace yelled at Alec.
"I did my best, Jace." Alec defended. Sienna clutched her head in agony as the boys continued to argue.
"Then maybe your mother was right, and your best just isn't good enough."
"JACE! Watch your mouth." Izzy scolded. "If you couldn't tell Sienna is a bit battered and bruised. So be more considerate and keep your voices down!"
"Are you so blinded by your feelings for Clary, you've lost sight of us?" Alec asked. "Clary snuck out. We went after her to protected her. I did nothing you haven't done a thousand times befor-"
"Yes, you did." Jace argued. "You lost her."
"Enough, both of you" Sienna spoke up, blood trickling down her head from her injury. "Shut up, for once. Simon and Clary are probably being held near water, which is why your tracking rune won't work."
Clary's phone started to ringing, the noise coming from inside her backpack. Jace went through the bag grabbing onto the phone and answering it. "Hello?" He asked, putting the phone on speaker.
"Oh, I thought I'd never utter these words, but thank God it's you." Simon spoke on the other side of the phone.
"Where are you? Where's Clary?"
"I don't know. Some Chinese restaurant, I think?" Simon said, not sure with his own answer. "This cop Alaric arrested us, but it was a total fake-out. Him and his buddies took us to their hangout and then they told Clary that they'll kill her if they don't find the Cup."
"Simon, calm down for me. Tell us what you see." Sienna told him softly, not wanting to scare him more than he already was.
"Uh, we're definitely on a pier. There's a ton of water. Uh, I see lockers and... oh my, I'm in some sort of torture chamber. There's claw marks all over the wall."
