Rain, it was raining, Pouring down rain.
I've always seen rain as a lucky charm. It's going to be fine. I tell myself it's for the better for my family. As the ship sliced through the choppy waters, I couldn't help but feel a stab of regret. My dreams of independence seemed to be slipping away with every mile that separated me from my homeland. But what choice did I have? My family's honor and the stability of our kingdom hung in the balance.
The rain continued to drum against the ship's hull, a relentless rhythm that matched the turmoil in my heart. Tomorrow, I would be wed to a stranger, a man whose name I barely knew. Would he be kind, as my mother assured me? Or would I find myself trapped in a loveless marriage, bound by duty rather than affection?
Lost in my thoughts, I barely noticed when my mother placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "Ohpelia, my dear, I know this isn't what you had envisioned for yourself," she said softly. "But sometimes, fate has other plans for us. Trust that everything will work out in the end.." Her words offered little solace as I gazed out into the gray expanse of the ocean. How could I trust in a future that felt so uncertain? Yet, as the rain continued to fall, I couldn't shake the feeling that perhaps there was still hope to be found amidst the storm. With a heavy sigh, I turned away from the window, determined to face whatever awaited me with courage and grace. Tomorrow would mark the beginning of a new chapter in my life, one that I could only hope would lead to happiness and fulfillment. But for now, all I could do was weather the storm, both outside and within, and pray that clearer skies lay ahead.

...

The storm has stopped, it's just quiet now. A sense of peace falls over me as I sit in my lonely cabin looking out the window. The stillness of the evening enveloped me, offering a moment of respite from the chaos of my thoughts. But amidst the uncertainty, there was also a glimmer of hope. Perhaps this marriage, arranged though it may be, could offer me the chance for a new beginning. A chance to forge a path of my own, even within the confines of duty and tradition. As I pondered these thoughts, a sense of determination welled up within me. No matter what the future held, I would face it head-on, with courage and resilience. I would make the most of this opportunity, no matter how unexpected or unconventional it may seem. With renewed resolve, I rose from my seat by the window and began to prepare for the day ahead. Tomorrow would mark the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I was determined to meet it with open arms and an open heart.
"Land" Immy yells "I see land, oh and how beautiful it is. Ophelia I am quite jealous of you, you get to live here in this beautiful kingdom, and you get to be the king's second hand and help him rule. Oh Ophelia, you don't understand how lucky you are." As Immy's excited voice pierced through the calm of the cabin, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation in my chest. Land at last, and from Immy's description, it seemed we were approaching our destination in grand style. Emerging from the cabin, I followed Immy's gaze to behold the sight she described. A breathtaking kingdom stretched out before us, bathed in the warm glow of the morning sun. Lush greenery blanketed the landscape, punctuated by towering spires and majestic castles that seemed to reach for the heavens. Immy's envy was palpable as she spoke of the life that awaited me in this wondrous place. And as I took in the sight of the golden carriage awaiting our arrival, pulled by four magnificent white horses, I couldn't help but share in her excitement.
It was true that I had never set foot in this kingdom before, nor did I know what lay in store for me within its walls. But in that moment, surrounded by beauty and possibility, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity that lay before me. With a smile, I turned to Immy and took her hand in mine. "Yes, Immy," I said softly, "it truly is a magnificent kingdom. And I am grateful beyond words for the chance to call it home, to serve alongside the king and help him in any way I can." Together, we stepped onto the awaiting carriage, ready to embark on the next chapter of our journey. As the horses began to move, carrying us toward our new life, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building within me. Whatever challenges lay ahead, I knew that I was ready to face them head-on, with Immy by my side and the promise of a brighter future beckoning us forward.
