a scowl lived on the blondes face for the entire afternoon.

listening to invitation list, catering this, flowers that, lighting this—she absolutely despised the planning of this party.

she sat in the study and listened to yvette's ramble and questions, providing short responses as usual.

her party was in 2 days, and she doesn't think she's ever dreaded something more.

she also wanted to roll her eyes at the mere fact that her personal assistant is actually doing her job.

she did infact check back up on the sun rooms baseboards, she hated to admit that the color was as vibrant as she wanted it to be and she couldn't help but admire it—once onika left of course.

she did everything beyonce asked of her—without messing up.

and it seems as the weeks go by—onika is more comfortable with beyoncés attitude. which makes the blonde want to roll over and die.

she wanted this wineyard.

so bad.

she always has, it's harder to find a good spot and investor than people think. and robyn managed to have something passed into her hands that she didn't want to profit off of.

onika needed to quit, for her to get it.

and with her happy go lucky attitude as of late, (which irritated beyonce with no end)—it wasn't happening.

the blonde sunk into her spinny chair as she let out a puff of air.

"okay, what's got your panties in such a twist?"

beyonce almost hissed at the sound of the bajan woman, she glanced up from her deep rooted pout to meet robyn who stood at the doorway with her arms crossed over her chest, wearing cropped white t shirt and low waist jeans.

"and why the hell is she here?"  beyonce groaned out, gesturing to robyn but glancing at yvette. the older woman just ignored her, only providing her with a glare,

"you are such a grouch. I'm here because onika forgot something at her apartment. and why are you so mad? wait—let me guess.." robyn grinned while tapping her chin.

she loved teasing the blonde, especially when she was this serious. she pretend to concentrate on her thinking before snapping her fingers,

"oh I get it! are you mad that the seemingly nice girl you hired is infact nice and genuine?" she quizzed, beyonce rolled her eyes and stayed silent. huffing and puffing as if she was a 5 year old who didn't get her favorite toy for christmas.

robyn couldn't help but throw her head back and laugh, hanging onto the doorway of the study.

"my heavens! what a disastrous surprise! boohoo, oh so sad. the person i hired to help me is doing their job!? blasphemy!"

"shut it rob."

in return robyn simply giggled, "..and she's not afraid of you anymore is she? does that grind your gears? that you aren't intimidating, that you aren't getting what you want?"

beyoncés nerves were being worked with the condescending tone lacing robyn's voice, she glared at her old friend. "don't speak to me as if i'm some immature child."

"you sure as hell act like one. and this is coming from me." robyn said, chuckling in the process. beyonce kept her entire body language guarded. the raven haired girl sighed, "i mean come on beyonce, would you really her be shaking in her boots with you? mess up? so she can hate her job so much that she quits?"  robyn pried.
