WILL'S POV-

It just had to be the most awkward silence I have ever witnessed. Nico was sitting on his bed like he was going to tell me something, probably a rejection. maybe I should tell him. . . maybe not. I honestly like him a lot, but what if he doesn't like me back? He probably doesn't since I'm everything he despises, sunny bright loud son of Apollo liking a dark brooding mysterious son of Hades? But then it's probably still best to at least try and clear the air between us right? Gosh I have more questions than answers, 

And there's only one way to fix that.

I took a deep breath '' N-Nico?'' He looked at me in question '' look I know that this is very wrong and stupid and you're going to hate me after this but'' he looked really crushed for some reason, but there's no backing down '' I- I really like you '' 

NICO'S POV-

When all the Weasleys left I swear I wanted to bury myself in a hole and never come out. Will probably thought I'm disgusting to even sit down there in front of him. Speaking of Will, he looked really troubled like as if he was. . . making a last minute speech. A speech to probably tell me we can't be friends anymore. I saw him take a deep breath and I braced myself. 

'' N-Nico?'' I looked at him in question '' look, I know that this is very wrong and stupid and you're going to hate me after this but'' if I thought Percy dating Annabeth was heartbreak, it's nothing compared to now, as he broke eye- contact with me '' I-I really like you''

I blinked 6 times, slowly before I felt elated. I felt my eyes light up as jumped into his arm and kissed him, hard and bruisingly before he came apart '' So I take it that you return my feelings?'' Will asked, a teasing glint in his eyes

'' Shut up you also thought I would reject you '' I punched his chest '' and don't look at me like I'm a toddler!'' 

''Well it's not my fault that you're short and I have to crane my neck to look at you'' 

'' Well It's not my fault that you're too tall and I need to crane my neck up to look at you'' I sassed 

'' Well it certainly ain't my fault that I'm getting sleepy talking to you'' he yawned and lay down taking me with him and fell asleep almost instantly. I smiled as I snuggled into his chest and fell asleep
