The morning sun cast a pale golden light across the quiet town as you made your way to school, the events of the previous night still weighing heavily on your mind. Despite the bright sky above, a heavy cloud seemed to hang over you, casting a shadow over the day ahead.

As you walked, you kept your head down, avoiding the curious glances of passersby and the familiar jeers of your classmates. You were used to being invisible – a loner lost in the sea of faces that filled the crowded halls of the school. But today, the loneliness seemed to weigh on you more heavily than usual, a constant ache in the pit of your stomach that refused to be ignored.

Arriving at school, you slipped through the doors unnoticed, the familiar routine of classes and lectures unfolding around you like a silent film. You tried to focus on the lessons, to lose yourself in the safety of books and equations, but the whispers and laughter of violet and her minions couldn't stop ringing in your ears.

Lunchtime came and went in a blur, the cafeteria bustling with activity as you sat alone at your usual table, lost in your own thoughts. Then the "trio" came up to you and dunked their leftovers over your head while cackling. At that moment you were trying so hard to hold in the floods of tears, some poured but it wasn't incredibly noticeable.

You tried to ignore them, to push away the hurt and the loneliness that threatened to consume you. But no matter how hard you tried, the pain lingered, a constant reminder of your own insignificance in the eyes of those around you. How you wished to look like violet.. her gorgeous, long blonde hair, blue piercing eyes and most importantly,  her likeability. You don't get how everyone swoons over her or how people fall instantly in love with her but oh well. What good is it to cry over a silly thing.

As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, you gathered your books and made your way home, the weight of the depressing day dawning on you as you reflected mentally. The streets were quiet now, the hustle and bustle of the day replaced by a solemn stillness that seemed to mirror the emptiness in your own reality.

Arriving home, you retreated to the solitude of your room, the silence broken only by the soft hum of the overhead light. You longed for someone to talk to, for a friend to share your burdens with. But as you stared at the blank walls that surrounded you, you couldn't help but wonder if you were destined to walk this path alone, a ghost of someone who longed for more than the feeling of exile.

As evening descended upon the town, you found yourself restless and hungry. With a sigh, you pushed away your books and decided to head downstairs to fix yourself a bowl of cereal – a simple comfort in the midst of the chaos that seemed to follow you everywhere.Descending the stairs, you made your way to the kitchen, the dim light casting strange shadows on the walls. You reached for the box of cereal, pouring it into a bowl with a sense of quiet resignation. As you added milk, the soft sound of rain tapping against the windowpane filled the room, a soothing backdrop to the emptiness that seemed to pervade your surroundings. But as you turned to take a seat at the table, something caught your eye – a flicker of movement outside the window that sent a shiver down your spine. You froze, heart pounding in your chest as you peered out into the darkness, searching for any sign of what had caused the disturbance. At first, all you could see was the rain-soaked streets, the reflection of the street lamps dancing on the wet pavement. But then, just beyond the edge of the light, you saw it – a dark figure lurking in the shadows, watching you with eyes that seemed to glow in the darkness.Your breath caught in your throat as you stared, unable to tear your gaze away from the figure outside. Who was it? What did they want with you? The questions swirled in your mind, but before you could find an answer, the figure vanished into the night, leaving you alone once more with nothing but the sound of your own racing heartbeat.Trembling, you sat up from the table, your hands shaking as you take the bowl of cereal up with you up the stairs. The encounter had left you feeling shaken and vulnerable, the sense of unease that had plagued you since the previous night now consuming you completely. With a sigh, you had reached your door, entering back into the comfort of your own room.
