˚ ·˚ ADELYN REMI LOCKWOOD₊˚ˑ༄ the complete opposite of her cousin, Tyler Lockwood. Adelyn, also known as Addi, was the outcast of her family. She never felt in place with her aunt and uncle, their reputation was always 'on the line' as they would describe.
Addi never knew her parents, it didn't bug her. Although, late at night when there weren't any distractions her mind would wander. She would think about the life she could have had if her parents stuck around and if she had turned out differently.
Her family always chose the stuck-up approach, never being too friendly to the people around them. That's what made her different. Even without her 'teenage dirtbag' phase, she was always the one who stuck out like a sore thumb. The one who chose to think differently than the influences that orbited around her.
Jeremy also liked to think differently. It might not be in the exact same way, but he liked to believe in people. People who made it seem like nothing was left. People like him.
Addi always had an eye for people's emotions. She could nitpick the truth behind their words.
That's why they clicked instantly. They fit together like perfect puzzle pieces, always knowing the meaning behind the words they spoke.
Becoming friends was the highlight of both of their years. They helped each other in more ways than they could describe.
All they knew was that they needed each other.
