Snow

I think if you were a flame you’d be
The nicest ever to warm me.
You mean the world,
You’re worth the whole earth.

You’re kind and sweet,
My love for you knocks me off my feet
You’re gentle and caring,
And if i were so daring,
I’d ask you to be mine

I don’t think that you could confine
My love
As it burns and blisters,
Yet never burns to embers

I love you always
My love will forever blaze
I care more than you know
Love hot enough to melt snow

I would still comfort you no matter what
No matter what happens you're my priority
You mean so much to me but it hurts to know
That my snow melting love could just go

And, unaffected by qualms of the heart
You'd get up and finally start
To leave me behind like I deserve
I don't know how I fit in your world

But I know I don't deserve you
People have said you suck for me
But really?
You make me happy like
you make me cry

Frequently, and most often without remorse
Because I deserve to cry. Not only that
I deserve to die.

You mean the world, and inside
I feel for you and I love you no matter what
No doors, with you, are ever shut
You mean the world and that's why I say
I love you each and every day
But it's in my head because I know
That my love, hot enough to melt snow,
It matters less to you
