Chapter 4: Unexpected

Riley's POV
I woke up thinking about yesterday.
It was a great day, James proposed me!! I'm engaged!! Yay!
I went downstairs and I poured myself some cereal, just then Emily headed to the kitchen and saw me there.

"Hey sis, what's up I see your too excited" She says

I giggle a bit.

"James proposed me!! I'm engaged!!"
I scream

"Sis, be careful, don't you remember the kissing with Beth last year?"
"He's a player! I never liked him!" She screams out of breath

"Hey,James isn't any player, he loves me!" I say and storm out of the kitchen

"I warned you" She whispers

Emily's POV
Riley storms out of the kitchen so I decide to text Hunter.

Emily- Hey honey, are you going to the studio?
He answers in a few seconds

Hunter-Yeah babe, why?
Emily- Can we meet at Hidalgos?
Hunter- Sure but why?
Emily- I can't tell you now it would ruin the surprise
Hunter- Your making me so anxious babe, see you then
Emily- See you
Hunter- See you

I turn my phone off and go and pick up my dance-bag, then I call Riley:
"Riles, you ready?" I ask
"Yep" She says
She walks down the stairs, gets her dance-bag and head to the door.
Once we are in the car we started to talk a bit
"Why do you think James is still a player?" She asks me
"I've known him since I was 2 years old and you knew him since you were 7.
No matter what his age was he would still flirt with all girls." I said
"I think he's changed" She tells me
I sighed.

(10 minutes later)

Emily's POV
We arrived to the studio 10 minutes later and as Riley headed to the A-Troupe room I went to Hidalgos to meet Hunter, I needed to tell him something extremely important.
As I arrived to Hidalgos I saw that Hunter was already there and he was too anxious.
I came and sat next to him:
"Hi babe, what was that extremely important thing you need to tell me?" He asks
"My knee is healed, I can go to Internationals!"

Riley's POV
I was in A-Troupe, stretching a bit because the competition would be in half an hour.
When I finished stretching I went to look for James, I went to B-Troupe to see if he was there, I just wanted to wish him good luck.
When I entered the B-Troupe room I saw something I would never want to see...James and Beth...
James was talking to Beth, this was his conversation with her:

Beth- So how's the plan going?
James- Really good, thanks for making believe Riley your obsessed with me
Beth- No problem, does she fully trust you?
James- Yes she does, I proposed her, but you see it's part of the plan
Beth- So your dumping her after the battle?
James- Of course, I never really liked her, after the battle i'm breaking up with her!
Beth- So all is going cool?
James- Yeah, she's actually a fool because Emily warned her about me and she didn't believe her own sister, but yeah i'm still a player
Beth- So we could say the plan is achieved!!

When I hear the conversation I nearly faint! Emily was right..
