Ayumu's Resolve

Sunday morning

Early in the morning my alarm went off and I quickly hit the snooze button

I looked to the side of the bed and see that Hiroki was still asleep so I snuggled up next to him

Ayumu: hope don't you mind, my blonde boy bestie

A smile grows across my face, a smile so bright that I'm surprised that my cuddle buddy hasn't woken up yet

I started to fall back asleep with my arms wrapped around him I was in a state of complete bliss

Eventually the lovely scent of what smelled like pancakes woke both of us up and we quickly got out of bed and rushed down stairs for breakfast

Sakura: oh morning you two

Hiroki & Ayumu: morning Ma'am/Mom

Sakura: how did you kids sleep last night

Ayumu: I slept amazing

Hiroki: I slept rather well

Sakura: well that's good to hear, breakfast should be finished within a few minutes. Why don't you two get ready for the day

Ayumu: okay

Me and Hiroki went back to my room and took turns getting dressed in the closet

Hiroki: hey I didn't bring any clothes with me, do you have any more....boyish clothes I could wear

Ayumu: oh yeah we did just kinda rushed over here after the incident. Let me look around for ya

After a few minutes of digging I found some old clothes I got last year.....

Ayumu:..... hey Hiroki.... you don't mind the emo look do you

Hiroki: um why do you ask

Ayumu: cuz so far all I can find is this embarrassing skull T-shirt my uncle got me last year

Hiroki:.... how is that embarrassing

Ayumu: are we not looking at the same shirt. The skull on it is so crudely drawn, it's not even centered properly not to mention that I highly doubt anyone would be willingly be near someone who's shirt says "DIE MOTHERFUCKER" Like a billion times on it

Hiroki: I'd wear it

I shrugged and tossed him the shirt and he went to go try it on

Hiroki: so how do I look

Ayumu: well I still think it looks tacky, but when you wear it it's tacky in a cutesy ironic sort of way

Hiroki just rolled his eyes and we went back downstairs for breakfast

Sakura: oh perfect timing you two breakfast is-........ Hiroki what are you wearing

Hiroki: ohh umm I didn't bring a change of clothes

Sakura: *sighs* fine, but only because I'm not expecting anyone to show up today

Me and Hiroki quickly ate breakfast afterwards we thanked my mom for the delicious meal and started heading out for the day

Ayumu: so what do you wanna do today

Hiroki: I don't know, I was thinking we see if there's any good arcades around

Ayumu: oh yeah that's a good idea

???: UUUUGGGHHH WHERE THE FUCK IS HE

We turned around to see who was making that noise and it was the last person either of us wanted to see

Hiroki: i-is that Nao

Ayumu: come on let's get out of here before she notices us

But it was already too late as Nao quickly stormed twords us

Nao: DO ETHER OF YOU TWO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS

Hiroki: what are you talking about

Nao: don't play dumb with me I'm obviously talking about your bully, I haven't been able to contact him in the last two days and I'm sure y'all have something to do with it

Ayumu: huh that's weird, I wonder why your trying to get in touch with that punk

Nao: well......umm.... it's umm, look were just working together on a school project is all

Hiroki: Nao I...I already know....

Nao: what... How did.... You know it doesn't matter, so when did you find out

Hiroki: like...two months ago...he sent me a video of you two doing it

Nao: so you've known for two months and yet you haven't broken up with me yet, *gentle places a finger under Hiroki's chin* are you some sort of cuck Hiroki

Hiroki started getting an uncomfortable expression on his face

So I quickly pulled him closer to me

Ayumu: For your information Nao, that prick also went after his mother and sister. And he tried to get his to rope me into this

Nao: oh so man whore sleeps around, you think that surprises me. I knew that guy does it with britches and quite frankly I don't care

Ayumu:......um I think what you just said makes you look worse... like way worse

Nao just rolled her eyes at my comment

Nao: yeah whatever, I better get going but before I do I've gotta know. Are you gonna break up with me Hiroki

Hiroki: I...I..umm

Nao: it's not exactly a hard question to answer, I mean think about it I did sleep with a guy that kicks your shit in dayin and day out behind your back are really comfortable dating someone that does shit like that to you

Hiroki: I DON'T KNOW

Both me and Nao looked completely shocked when he said that

Hiroki: I don't fucking know. By all means I should break up with you, there's not a single perspective where it doesn't make sense for me to break up with you. You cheated on me with my fucking bully, you practically said it yourself your a lousy piece shit and a terrible excuse of a girlfriend.... but for some stupid reason......I just can't bring myself to do it

Nao:......

Ayumu:.......

Nao: you know what..... whatever i-I better get going, I'll see you at school tomorrow

..........

I gently put my hand on Hiroki's shoulder

Ayumu: do you want to talk about it, cuz I can at the very least listen to vent

Hiroki: no I'd rather not, it's already going to be difficult enough trying to go back to my house next week. I don't want to deal with anything else right now
