Chapter One

LAVENDER

My alarm clock rang. I looked at the time and saw that it was already 9:56. I immediately got up because I have a class at 10:20.

Before i went to the bathroom kinuha ko muna yung towel ko.

*time skip (at the bathroom)

"No Fair you really know how to make me cry, when you gimme those ocean eyes. " i sang while scrubbing myself.

A few minutes later. I had just finished taking a bath when someone called. I looked at the Caller ID, and it was Anikka, my Lasallian best friend

"Hello?" I said as i answered the call. "Do you have class today?" She asked. "Yeah. Why?" Sagot ko naman. "Hmm, nothing. What time does your class ends?" Ani ni Anikka. "Mga 3:30." I mumbled while brushing my teeth.

"M'kay, Punta kayo here ni Pearl. Shai and I are planning to have a sleepover." Sabi ni Anikka. "Ah sige I'll just message Pearl nauna na siya e 9 am class niya pero sakto parehas kami nang labasan." I said. "Then I'll see you both later." She said excitedly before ending the call.

tumakbo ako papuntang closet para mag bihis. I looked at the time once again and saw that it was already 10:04 am, so I ran as fast as I could after getting dressed. It's a good thing that Pearl's and my condo is behind UST.

I arrived at Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati building exact 10:20. it's the shs building.

"Hey, Lavender!" Someone said
It's Marielle, A Close friend of mine. "Oh, it's a good thing na may kasama akong mapagalitan ni Ms. Eunice" i said habang sabay kami naglalakad patungo sa classroom namin.

"Ms.Lavender and Ms.Marielle why are you both late?" Our Teacher, Ms. Eunice asked as soon as we entered the classroom. "We're sorry, Ma'am. We promise this won't happen again." Marielle Answered.

"Both of you, to your designated chair. Now!" Ms. Eunice Raised her voice as we walked through our own chairs.

Our teacher continued to discuss about the 'impact of artificial intelligence on society' it's such a boring lesson to be honest.

Later on, few minutes before The next subject i looked at my watch and saw that it is already 11:05 am. I was so bored that i scrolled through tiktok when someone caught my attention.

I looked at his Username "Woo_in." I whispered as i read his username. He's a Cyclist From Ateneo de manila University. That's Not quite far from UST,  About 31 minutes away.

I clicked the link on his Bio and it led me to his Instagram account.

I stalk his IG And only to find a couple of pictures. His first upload was in May 2019. Nasa bolinao pa siya, along with his family. His Second upload was in August 2021 It's a montage of his bike.

After scrolling for a bit i heard Ms. Eunice bid a goodbye. "Okay, That's all for today. See you on the Next Meeting." She said then she walked out of our classroom.

"Psttt!" Someone called me. When i look at our classroom Window nakita ko si Pearl.

"Hoy, wala kang class?" Tanong ko pag kalapit ko sakanya. "Absent si Ma'am Zargosa eh. Oo nga pala, Nag text si Anikka sa GC. Di ka nagseseen kaya pinuntahan na kita." She said. 'Shit naka Do not disturb pala ako'. Sabi ko sa sarili ko.

I quickly get my phone out of my pocket para icheck yung message ni Anikka

"Off mo nga yang Dnd mo Lav, mamaya may emergency hindi ka matawagan." Sermon sakin ni Pearl. "Sorry Baka kasi biglang may tumawag eh. Pagalitan pa ako nang mga teachers." Sabi ko. "Sige na balik na ako sa classroom. Bye! Hihintayin kita sa tapat ng main building." She said as she walked towards the Elevator.
